Well... That Uncle had a valid point. Dhool se pareshan hote honge khoob. Itna tap chuke the maarne ko tayyar the..socho zara unka mental trauma. But handled it beautifully.

Last time we were riding on this trail ~ 2 years back. We stopped and went to the mandir. The same Pujari was very hospitable. Invited the 5 of us for tea at his place and had a long talk for about 30 mins.

I don't know how you have controlled yourself when that guy said 'mein bhi Kisangarh gaon se hoon'😂. This will possibly be one of your fav nostalgic moments ever.

I ride cycle in these trails and these bikers are pure nuisance in Aravalis. No respect for locals, wild life.... they just push throttle. Since there is no govt control and forest dept official on what can be done here and very little enforcement everyone seems to have free run. The most nuisance is these bikers. The local have tried digging the trails and these folks cut through forest and make new trails. When someone is walking, hiking or riding cycle on road, these folks dont give them way. They just want to be first one to cross and run at 50-60 kms on single trails. It all started with cyclists sharing their STRAVA Maps and these bikers picked and invite more friends to ruin the Jungle. They are like parasites ... . destroying the tranquil environment of jungle. These guys are defending the nonsense of one rider by saying first time rider, who is responsible if you are binging in new new riders?

Handled the situation well Abhinav, this is how all bikers should behave when they are in a village or unknown territory. Even if you fight and escape today, the next group of bikers will be persecuted because of your actions. Always be calm and try to diffuse the situation.

Nicely handled 👏 I have visited Baba Badjod mandir twice while riding this trail on my Xpulse in 2021. Baba is very jolly man. Everytime served us tea and biscuits. Baba has done some really good work for the environment at that area with locals. Even i still have his mobile number number 😊

This ride is from Damdama lake dry bed to Mangar village. Its a straight jeep trek for almost 12+ kms. The bikers run crazy here with no respect for wild life or locals. Just see the speed in meter of these videos, they are crossing 60+ on these roads. Bhai kisne bola jungle mein Ghuso aur tricks karo. Go to some bike and trek and try your skills there.

This is the only way to handle such escalations. Doesn't matter who is right or wrong for that moment - you are in unknown territory and if they bring out 10-20 guys (with just sticks, not even talking firearms here), it can get very dangerous very fast. If later you want, take legal action (not applicable in this case but let's say a small accident somewhere secluded where it wasn't your fault), but don't get all hyped up and create difficult situations yourself. :)

The old man is not wrong at all. His frustration led to this misdirected anger on the wrong group perhaps. But honestly, riding in groups in and around villages and often in reserved forests is an annoying culture in the adventure riding community. I live in Maharashtra, and I have seen so many trails being shut down and barricaded because of a bunch of rowdy riders. Now all of you might be be respectful and all that, but doesn't change the fact that there are 6-7 of you on loud bikes throwing up gravel and dust going as fast as you can. If I lived there, I'd come out with a stick as well.

Now please understand the phycology of this 1) Most of the inner side there are temples and people are emotionally attached to it , now you understand why I avoid non-veg breakfast options 2) These bikers did drifting ( another reason to provoke the villagers) , we are in their territory they are not in ours 3) Check out timing its around 11:00 AM , most of them have woken up and ready for the arguments ( more reasons to do biking early morning and come back) 4) Also we never do any “Ho-Halla” and calmly we go and do our breakfast and come back. 5) Also understand why greeting them and offering them tea-coffee is better , we do this as well if we see someone coming towards us 6) Spoiling the jungle is something we should avoid completely , doing rev and giving throttle is also not good in front of the villagers , I saw most of the riders doing it 7) End of the day stay safe , that’s more important and the guy who shot the video looked mature as he managed it in a better way , but some of the riders looks amature Lets don’t make others uncomfortable , keep things low and easy for them as well , I don’t feel that TAU was wrong here … he is doing good to safeguard his territory

I knew something like this would happen when I saw your other video where you took your Himmy on a 22 km trail with your dirtbike friend and the villagers were trying to flank you.

You're 'local' trail doesn't mean that you owe that land, your local may in city area where you live up... This is villagers local area. With say they still don't own the public place but they have right to live in peace with city whistle and loudness.

I do not understand Hindi and understood nothing of this conversation except for the English word sorry. This speaks tremendous volume on how the Young generation respect the elder generation in the Indian subcontinent cultures. Had this been India or Canada, the senior citizen would have been beat up black and blue. The way the gentleman defused the entire situation which could have otherwise gone in a completely different direction, is to be commended. This video should also be taken as a learning lesson for many of us off-roaders, how to de-escalate and diffuse a critically vulnerable situation. My hat's off add tremendous respect to this rider, and his fellow riders, in showing restraint and not escalating the situation. All of them could have easily beat up the senior citizen, but instead showed the utmost respect.
