Jin is a really good mood maker, he is really good at entertaining. Actually he explained once that he is like this only on camera, off set he is really serious. A lot of people describe him like a person who is difficult to speak with (if you don't know him), cuz he looks kinda cold. Personally, I think he is the one that only shows what he wants to us, he controlls himself really well. But he is a good hyung to them, I'm grateful we have him in BTS❤

yoongi won’t say anything to seokjin since seokjin is older and in Korea, the older you are than those around you, the more respect you get. Yoongi is the second oldest so seokjin is the only one he called Hyung.

Let's not forget that Jin was an acting major when he was scouted and cast by Big Hit. He provides the comic relief for BTS. He is really a quite and serious person. This is a way to get out of his normal introverted self.

Jin is hilariously chaotic because of how comfortable he is with the other members. But he has a real good sense of reading people and situations. You could say his behavior is a way to protect the members by keeping them entertained and in a postive atmosphere. If you get the chance "Bighit staff are no match for Chaotic Jin."

Hahaha, I've always thought that, too, it's so funny to see their goofier sides and personality quirks when you're so used to seeing them in MVs. When I first saw RM in Dope 3 years ago, I could just tell he was their leader because he exhibited that energy, so imagine my surprise when I learned he was ALSO a very self aware and tender person underneath that role.

It’s a word that shows respect to people (in this case males) that are older. They would sometimes refer to junkook as the maknae which means youngest in the group.

Lol to provide context: that clip where Jin was yelling on the roof, all the members had the chance to go up their and rant/voice their concerns either towards each other or their bosses. Also, he's not seriously mad in any of the clips he just acts that way to make his group members laugh. Jin is often called an old man because he has old sense of humor (dad jokes and what not) and his style of speaking is kind of old-sounding too. He's the oldest member of the group at 26; while 26 is by no means "old" in other contexts, in the world of kpop it's kind of up there in age.

Actually, it's been said a lot that Jin's on camera and off-camera personality is really different. He's an introvert and used to be one of the quietest members of BTS. BTS said multiple times that Jin's the shyest member (yeah, surprise surprise). When they go on interviews or talk shows, Jin gets loud and makes dad jokes to break the ice. Whenever he does that you can see his ears turn RED, and BTS always calls it out when they see it. This is just one video that doesn't show much of his personality - just one side of it (the 'ahjussi' uncle persona he adopts.)

Jin has mentioned that he tries to be fun and silly to make people laugh and smile. He complains and rages a lot but he actually compromises a lot and honestly gives in the most. In Korea, age hierarchy is VERY important. So Jin technically has the most power but he rarely exercises it. He really let the group have a carefree atmosphere and I think that played a big part into them all being so damn close
