Nowadays, it has become rather hard in Europe to fly on anything else than A320s or 737s (although it's becoming more colourful now).
For me, a dream came true when I finally got the chance to fly on the latest evolution of the DC-9 series!
There are many many differences to other aircraft. What struck me most was that you can clearly hear the air conditioning packs surging whenever the engines spool up.
Another noticeable feature was the amazing climb performance although every single seat was occupied!
I can only recommend flying on this bird while you still can!
