When you're southern English (Essex) and you go up north to your cousin's (e.g. Manchester) and they say you sound posh... Fuck no. No no no, Essex people DO NOT SOUND POSH. Yes I know the capital is basically a car journey away but God fuck no. No. We sound very very different from them. No. Basically me bring confused as fuck when my cousins kept saying I sounded posh. I mean I'm well spoken now (but I still don't sound like a Londoner, more it's some strange mix between accents which makes it hard for people to tell where I come from) but back then I either sounded full blown Essex or I sounded like some Irish/American kid. Not posh at all. And besides I swear like a sailor (Just not when my mum's around) Otherwise she'll get the slipper... (Just kidding)
