Why does everyone call the Lockwood a shotgun? It’s based off of a Marlin 336 which is a rifle rounds?!?!

Probably because the conversion kit converts it into a shotgun that shoots multiple projectiles simultaneously instead of a single round per cycle. That's probably why. The shotgun reticle might also be a clue but what do I know?

@@pavmx703 Ive never used the conversion kit but I enjoy your smug answer. A reticle is in a scope oh smart one and the conversion kit has a rear sight aperture and front sight post that the marlin rifle has stock. Also why would I assume a rifle could be turned into a shotgun, the description says it but anyone who knows firearms would be confused as to why a lever action rifle is now a lever action shotgun. If you are confused by what I said get out of your game chair, open your door, and ask your dad what I mean :)
