His only suit was probably in the wash after their previous performance... I know they didn't perform in 2005 (I'm a big fan) but you get what I'm saying
You totally missed my point, which is that it's GREAT to hear someone NOT using auto tune these days. The fact that they tune down because one's vocal range decreases as one gets older is obvious, even Master Dio sung in lower keys towards the end. And besides that, Sabbath used a lot of drop C on their earlier albums as well, so… That was NOT my point. 😃
Ozzy loves his fans. I've been to countless rock concerts from the late 70's up to the present and I've seen the Oz in his younger days, as well as in his later years. Unlike a lot of "stars" he really seems to enjoy what he is doing and wants his fans to enjoy the show. The true passion in his face is more enjoyable to watch than anything.
I think the one thing i always loved was this supposedly evil guy, who at EVERY CONCERT would always say something like "WE LOVE YOU PEOPLE!!!" Awww, Ozzy. "God bless you all!!" - The Prince of Darkness
NeilThompson30 Technically, if you saw him 3 years ago, you saw him in his "younger days." I would say seeing him in '81 counts as younger days. (i get what you mean though, he didn't see Sabbath in the early days.)
Ballistic BBQ I would have said 1970 was his younger days - stretching it a bit would be up to 1975 (the Sabotage tour) but anything after that I wouldn't class as his younger days.
if you saw Angus walking In a mall and didn't know who he is, you'd think there's a seemingly harmless looking regular old dude, in a way he was smart because on stage In the school uniform he's automatically recognised, but when he takes it off he can probably blend in and go anywhere without being mobbed.
I first saw Ozzy in 1970. I was a big fan from the start. Time is not fair to many of us. Look at Malcom Young, destined to forget all he created - We must remember them as they were, not as they become. Hail Ozzy Osbourne and all the heros of Rock & Roll. None of us are perfect, we all have our flaws. - - We are the generation of the best music ever made!! Thank you all for what you gave us. That's why we have a Hall Of Fame
Wilderness Bound and it’s the generation of young rockers like me who will carry on their legacy! I don’t live far from Angus’s mansion in Aalten, and I grew up on these guys (everyone in the video) Ozzy, AC/DC, Black Sabbath. You name it I’ve heard it most likely.
You can tell that angus was very uncomfortable being on stage but when you think back and think about his performance when playing a guitar, its the complete opposite. To me this man is not a rockstar, he's a legitimate, working class musician
Damn right! He AND Malcolm never forgot where they came from. Malcolm said many times he remembered every day working in the bra factory with his dad as a mechanic at 15. I'm thankful he had dementia in that respect. Millennials at 15 don't know what work is.
@Mike Stanton @Mike Stanton thats simply not true, I am 16 going to school and I have a parttime job, I also had to pay for my moped so please stop talking about shit you dont know anything about...
I love the fact when Angus starts speaking saying "This ain't my usual gig" and then he suddenly takes a torn page from the first notebook that he found. He is so unic!! Xd
+EyeShotFirst As interesting as that idea sounds, I don't think it would work out due to the difference in styles. AC/DC is more of a hard rock band while Ozzy is more heavy metal. It might just be me, but I don't see their styles meshing very well in an album.
***** Well like I said, that's just my opinion. I'm not really sold on the idea of them making an album together because I've always considered Ozzy's music to be a bit more extreme than AC/DC's. That being said, I grew up listening to these guys and I still absolutely love both Ozzy and AC/DC.
The men who we all love! Mr Angus Young and Mr Ozzy Osbourne! Just the two men who defined the music genres we all know and love today! It’ll be so sad when AC/DC retires! I love Angus!!!!!!!! He’s my guitar hero!!!!! Ozzy is one of my heroes as well!
@@Squishy_Seal Angus Young and Tony Iommi are 2 of my inspirations. Seeing them under the same roof? I would have passed out in excitement. And probably had them sign my dads now my guitar. If they would have. My dad died a few years ago in 20 of cancer but my dad was alive during this. He and my mom both taught me about rock and metal. My moms also Scottish like Angus and Malcolm are and clearly I am American but I have nothing against nobody for being a different nationality. (It wouldn’t be right of me) anyways that’s why I am kinda obsessed with great rock and metal lol.
Still watching and listening in 2023 whose with me?! AC/DC and Black Sabbath both still kick ass! And it’s awesome to see Angus introducing Ozzy and Black Sabbath still! I know Ozzy said it’s not Ozzy and Black Sabbath he said we are Black Sabbath but y’all know what I meant. And it’s still cool how Angus cry’s at the end for his friends performance!
Mike "Puffy" Bordin is one of the most underappreciated drummers of all time. Kids, if you are aspiring to be a drummer, do yourself a favor and do some research on him along with all of the other greats.
Angus and Malcolm are real people. Reading off a torn out notebook page, wearing t-shirt and jeans! Those guys never let fame and fortune go to their heads!
I just LOVE how Zakk can fit a riff and solo everywhere. My God if you start listening there is a small concert each time Ozzy is not singing. Ozzy is the soul of the band but he was lucky to have such amazing guitarists by his side. They are 99% of the band.
Half right and totally wrong :), Rhoads is a legend, Zakk is wonderful guitarist but, THIS band, not Black Sabbath, THIS band is 99% Ozzy, period. But I still like the way you think.
Ozzy gives it ALL he can give even when the audience is shit and his voice fails a wee bit. A born entertainer. And my main man Angus......no matter how old, wealthy or famous he gets he always remains the simple scrappy blue collar teenager who sleeps with his guitar and lives off of cereal and ice cream shakes. TWO OF THE BEST GUYS EVER IN THIS VIDEO.
+Shubham Pandey Zakk is my least fav. Oz G. player but I would bet that his pinch style and vibrato was to separate himself from the other guys. It's like the idea of any attention is good attention.
I met angus in athens greece after a concert he had here. Dude was walking with some friends and a sworn acdc buddy of mine recognised him. We had a selfie and autograph.
Me encanta esta página dedicado exclusivamente a los mejores Grupos del Heavy Metal de ahora y de todos los tiempos.que son los verdaderos y pioneros Maestros de esta Música Celestial
@@_yungfrankz No, he was that number reversed - 56. This was from 2005 - Ozzy is 71 now. Do the math. Bruce Dickinson is 62 now and still singing great.
Yeah, I loved Randy Rhoads style of playing!!!! So innovative and imagination unbound for the pure drive of creative music!!!!! R.I.P. RANDY RHOADS wherever you are my friend! PEACE BE WITH YOU! :-)
As much as I love Zakk Wylde, I wish he would use pinch harmonics and the effects pedals sparingly instead of every note to second note, too busy for my taste.
Back when Ozzy could still sing, that would have been awesome. Unfortunately this song was tuned down over a full step from the original and Ozzy still struggled to hit the higher notes. A legend he is, but the years were not good to him because of how rough he lived.
