Bro, love you guy's video. And it would be much better that you can add the actual Chinese characters next to the Pinyin as well. It will be easier for people to look the terminology up online and also the meaning will much clearer quicker. Keep up the good work.

Fu Zhuan cha is actually intentionally innocculated with the Jin Hua fungus during the tea drying process, (this is can be done with wheat so it's worth noting this tea may contain trace amounts of gluten for celiacs). This is done along with a short one day wet pile ferment (significantly shorter than most other heicha) making it heicha fermented in two different ways.

Yes, VERY interesting ! Thank you ! I enjoyed that info ! My first experience with tea in China caused me a bit of a "cha chi" high, and I would love to be able to understand it better and experience it again to know that it is/was actually "a thing". 😂 Thanks laoshi ❤❤

To be honest, it's something I don't understand very well either. And I think it's difficult to grasp properly without delving into things like traditional Chinese medicine.

This is a VERY interesting video. The aging,it is so very important,I recently,just as an experiment,drank a very young Sheng,it was soo bitter and astringent!! I knew it would be,but I needed to experience that.

Thank you! Some younger Sheng also comes with lovely aromatics to complement the bitterness, so I recommend continuing to try them as you come across them.
