Its actually that way in the original material. Two women are stalked by a cannibal, so they flee to their home. Upon arriving in the house, the cannibal himself is eaten.
it's interesting how this has a COMPLETELY different vibe from Possibly in Michigan (what the song is from), yet they two are telling a very similar story
((This isnt a reaction to either of y'alls comments but the comment made me think of this scenario)) Person 1: where is this song from? Person 2: Possibly from Michigan Person 1: okay? But like. Where is the song from so I can watch it Person 2: it's from possibly from Michigan Person 1: you just said that! What is the name of the video! Person 2: **sighs and pulls up the video**
edit, 03/05/2022: wow! been a while since i looked at this video haha im just here to say thank you for the likes and comments! it was nice to come back and see them after :) but i'd like to say: i made this "plot twist" as a sort of "imagine" solely going off the video above, IT WAS NEVER MENT TO BE A THEORY! i know it's not accurate as the story as evolved ALOT since this comment has been made and even when it was made i said that it was probably not even accurate at the TIME when you brought the HIP meme into consideration. So don't worry about informing me about how the story actually goes, I've been reading Bloodbath Bakery and heavily enjoying it! have a great day everyone! :) plot twist: the girl imagined all the creepy stuff at the start and end to do with the guy, in reality he was actually just a sane guy who was walking by/asking her on a date with no ill intent. She killed him because she genuinely though he was going to hurt her as "Only Dogs will follow me" (she believes all men who are attracted to her are cray like her exs) so to justify the murder she looks at what he's wearing and stuff and makes a story where he's a cannibal doctor. this is probably way off because of the HIP meme and stuff but hey it's interesting
Theory: After Pink schemes end Yami finds Olivier and you know. Eats him so later he meets a woman (we don't know her name ) Yami invites her over and tries to her but failed and was murder or she eats Yami with rabbit mask on and it's get popular leading her to go more
I’m also seeing similarities between the rabbit girl on the You Got Me! Me! Me! Meme and this girl in Animal Cannibal Meme, and considering rabbits are involved in this...
While I'm familiar with the original source material (the "Possibly in Michigan" short film by Cecelia Condit), this animation fits the song so perfectly that it feels like this is where the song originally came from.
TW I just realized that the person he's cutting into at the beginning is still alive and awake. HE'S LITERALLY TORTURING THEM. HE DIDN'T EVEN PUT EM TO SLEEP FIRST. That's actually terrifying.
oh my gosh you should see the movie where this is from it's equally as terrifying just in a different way lol for some reason this song fits both videos like a glove and i love it
everyone: what a cool song me: POSSIBLY IN MICHIGAN POSSIBLY IN MICHIGAN POSSIBLY IN MICHIGAN also I can’t get over the “have we met before?” because its sounds so pretty
1:24 "Here we go again" Me: "Same, dear singer. Same." 😂 ((OKAY SO I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS AND THEORIES YET I HAVE TO RE-WATCH THE OTHER VIDEOS TO AT LEAST CONFIRM OR DENY))
This seems to have a possible reference to the original song video "possibly in Michigan". The supposed "victim" woman isn't that feeble and helpless(the possible reference part?). Explanation: The girl probably imitated the pink haired man and ate him in the end just like the original. A fun fact: The shadowed face of the man might be the guy being eaten at the beginning. And the fact that the girl was smiling when the man was "abusing"/attempting to kill her shows that she isn't exactly a good woman either. My theory: There's this girl who kind of plays guys around and dates many guys and make them fall for her,aka the protagonist. And as for the pink-haired man,he might surprisingly be in mad love with the girl(and possibly having the mindset of "eating her is love") I The guy at the beginning being eaten might be a reference to the other guys the girl dated.(their hairstyle and haircolour are similar) As he only wants her for himself, but is too shy/timid around her. And she probably doesn't remember him either. In the end,the girl saw through the guy's intentions and either murdered/(even deeper analysis here) broke him mentally, causing him to break down. (The door covered in blood might be a symbolism of the most intimate and warm place, home, being dead.) As for the girl having the bunny mask? Two possibilities: 1. She decided to revenge and ate the guy for trying to eat her.(in a crazed defensive manner,a reference to the og) 2. (Deep analysis here again) She fell for the guy too and began her career as an insane yandere cannibal like him. Yeah," we won't see him anymore",BC he is probably broken and gave up trying to pursue his girl. And "is it my to make them into dead ones",the girl is breaking guys. Mentally.(Notice her eyes? It is an "X", signalling rejection in a romantic relationship.) And fun fact lol: The bunny mask might be a sign of feminine and ''victim''. She is a very good liar. (Bunny is a term of endearment for a girl or young woman.)
Oml each time I see the thumbnail my mind keeps going to "Animal Crossing" And then I remember I need to make a diner in my island and then I just sleep-
Ok, this might be a mild stretch but I THINK that this relates to HIP in a way. The reason I think this is mainly because of the few final frames. I believe that the girl we see in the video is a spy of some sort working for Yami to find more victims to “Work” on. She ended up meeting maybe a escaped victim or a traitor. More reasoning for this theory is that we see someone working on a body(Maybe yami in the past?? Or the only reason he’s happy is because he’s operating on someone.) we also see her standing in the background. The song also alluded to her knowing the man in the video by saying “Have we met before? In some strange department store.” In which I think the department store could be one of many of Yamis throw away labs. Murder, take the body, get out. Only this time she left her bunny mask at the scene. Where do we also see bunnies??? In the hip meme. That’s my main and last piece of evidence. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

I’ve watched the entire eleven minute video and I couldn’t stop laughing. I don’t know why, it just isn’t creepy for me, anyone else find the original hilarious.
