What a wonderful soundtrack to listen to whilst studying the many facts and uses of seaweed. Did you know that, there are an estimated 6 times more seaweed and algae in the ocean than all land based plant life. It also produces 70% of the worlds oxygen!
I have heard just about every AC song discovered, but it is always so exciting to see something they have done surface. Without a doubt my favorite band.
I love Panda's "Good times" signature. That phrase holds such a deep meaning to me because of him and all of the memories I have associated with this band.
my favorite animal collective song... i must seem silly to my friends for being so into them but their music speaks to me more than any other band and have for years
Wow, thank you for sharing this! There's so much about this band I haven't known/heard before, and yet I have listened to all of their full albums. I'm still finding rare EP's / b sides / live tracks here and there that are just lovely gems.
I know that we die And I know you'll come back again This earth And your skin And you know it comes back again The day that don't die And you'll come back again I know that it's hard But I know you'll come back again The day that we die But you know you'll come back again I know that it's hard but I know I'll come back again Always do
Well the guitar tuning is open, maybe an open 6th. I know a lot of guitar tracks for campfire and sung tongs were recorded in an various open D and G tunings. I feel like they're just floating around some variation of an open F# and open Ebm. Hope this helps.
Haha! This wasn't uploaded until long after Merriweather, kid. The fact that you use the term 'post merriweather dumbos' just says something about you and your outlook on their music. I don't think it's necessary for me to delve into details.
