as much as i love this song and this comment i feel like from a beach is actually one of their most straightforward songs lyrically lol. it's just avey painting the scene of a crowded beach, and then in the chorus he asks "i wonder what this beach was like when it wasn't overrun with humans and consumerism" he's making all of these observations "from a beach"

@alliant couldn't agree more. i was expecting it to be on fall be kind and considerably bummed when it wasn't. the quality of this version is pretty good though so i ain't even mad.

@Envee211 Yeah i know what u mean. when i saw em 2011 at pitchfork they played about 4 new songs that I have never heard. But definatley one of my favorite concerts so far
Steven Diaz I like masks, but not masks to hide identity, but more for the aesthetic. When I think of Eyes Wide Shut I think of the party with masks the same way when I hear Sung Tongs I think of their masks.
