I genuinely believe that’s what it’s made for. It helps so many people experiencing dark or suicidal episodes to stick through it, because “what will my villagers do without my help?”. It’s so amazing how such a simple game can be such a bright light. I hope you’re doing better 💕

I remember when the DS first came out and my sister and I got it for Christmas. For an entire week afterward, I hoarded myself in my room and played Animal Crossing. I remember feeling so cozy sitting by the window while the bright white snow would shine into my room. I didn't have anything important to do back then as a kid, Animal Crossing was the one game where I felt the most responsible. Those feelings haven't come back since I haven't sat down and played in awhile but these songs make me feel comfortable again.

Remember when you were a kid and you played this for hours? When you had your 3Ds or DS in your hands from the moment to you woke up till sun down? Maybe with a few breaks in between. Simply because you wanted to have your perfect house, perfect world, friends, and every item in the game? Those were good days. Now all I have is homework and I don’t have much time to play anymore. I don’t even know where my 3DS is 😓

Honestly it’s not only game it’s an emotional experience and a masterpiece of a series that acts as sort of a time capsule for times in your life. While listening to this music it reminds me of being a little kid with pure and happy visions of the world, sitting on the couch during a snowy day, talking with the silly townsfolk & selling sea shells in this adorable world. it makes me so nostalgic to revisit all these beautiful memories. Such an amazing game.

I was so sad because I thought I wouldn’t get a Nintendo switch in time for the new animal crossing, but if you buy a used one they cost way less! I totally recommend getting one they’re so awesome
