Yea man ac:pg was one of the games I got with my hand me down gamecube as a kid. The game still holds a special place in my heart, I still have my old memory cart with my first town on it and it makes me feel old every time I say it but it makes me smile to know that town is still there on the cart frozen in time. It sure is a game.
What? Quirkiness adds a charm to AC. Also, it has the least influence from American culture and set the design philosophy to the series. Sadly, mainstream and Issa-Bitch ruined AC. Animal Crossing on GameCube is unbeatable. In the first three games, you aren't allowed to change the pants because Animal Villager doesn't have any. It's like you are becoming part to the community, as it is the point of AC. AC is mean as an anti-game. Instead of the game telling you the goal, you_ are the one who made goal with features the game have. Also, it doesn't reward you for the 100% (unless you count the Bug and Fish catching) and it's okay to not complete it. You did your best and this is what matter. Animal Villagers used to be salty and snarky and that why I love them! Too bad they didn't bring it back. This added so much personality and depth. Also, the bubbles has four lines thus making the dialogues interesting to read. Villagers are mean to be the staple of the town. It's a part that shouldn't be neglected unlike some recent game. For, Dialogue is the essence of AC. Katsuya Eguchi is my favorite game personality for these reason and I wish they kept his philosophy for longer. He should have his own team.
New Leaf was my first Animal Crossing too, but not when I was a kid. I did technically emulate the previous games, but never for long. I played probably 2 hours, combined, of AC before New Leaf. And I was in my late 20s when I did finally play NL.
This video randomly popped up in my recommended, so I'm probably too late with this advice, but you can sell multiple items to Nook. If you press x (might be y) it will highlight the item and then you can sell all highlighted items at once. My sister was the one who told me about this. She discovered it on accident 8 years after we got the game haha
@TheRealGoastYT I mean I have no idea where you're supposed to learn it. Maybe it's in the manual? My sister only found out by accidentally pressing x one time while selling to Nook. It's definitely never made apparent in-game afaik
hi! i know im only a minute into this, but having tom nook only sell the shovel is intentional, you have to wait a long ass time to get the other tools
@@TheRealGoastYT as far as i know its completely luck based. sometimes you could go up to 3 weeks with only shovels, and other times you could get other tools after 4 days, whenever i start a new gamecube town i just use the password system to get the net and fishing rod
