Welcome to my Animal Crossing channel. Today's Animal Crossing video is all about celebrating 18 years of Animal Crossing Wild World. We celebrate this impressive milestone by breaking down why Animal Crossing on the Nintendo DS was so important to the Animal Crossing franchise! Animal Crossing Wild World released 18 years ago this week back in 2005, so to honour this anniversary we highlight the key Animal Crossing features that changed the game forever! Consider it a mini Animal Crossing retrospective or documentary.
If it wasn't for Animal Crossing Wild World, Animal Crossing games such as Animal Crossing New Horizons may have never existed, and Animal Crossing New Horizons may have never become the best-selling Switch game of all time in Japan, or the second-best selling Switch game of all time world wide.

I can see why lots of Animal Crossing Fans Enjoyed Wild World. The many features it introduced, were all fantastic. This game also gives me nostalgia, yet the first time I played the game was in 2021. I'll definitely be playing lots of Wild World this week to celebrate its birthday.

wild world has such a special place in my heart!!!! it was the first animal crossing i got to play on my own and i played it so much. i remember back in the day begging any of the present giving adults in my life for a DS specifically so i could play this game 🥹💕

I really wish New Horizons had returning features from wild world like the Observatory, it was my favorite to make constellations and actually see them in the sky ❤

Wild World is still my favourite AC! It's just so chill, the perfect game to play daily without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, and the characters are actually engaging to talk with! My villagers constantly surprise me with their conversation and relationships, and you even have meaningful conversations about the NPCs and get to know about their history and problems. I was so surprised when even Blathers started giving me funny lines after I got to know him. 😂

Don’t forget this game introduced the sky, putting more detail for the weather especially that you can look at stars at night.

"WILD WORLD" Animal Crossing Wild World was the first AC I played. And since then I've played every AC part, except that the best AC is and remains Animal Crossing Wild World, because I have a lot of memories associated with it.

I'm hoping for Nintendo to do the same with City Folk. Its such an underrated Animal Crossing game, and deserves a port to the Switch.

Wild World! I never played this one (nor the Gamecube one) so this was a very educational video! I started playing Animal Crossing with 'Let's go to the City'. I think my favorite AC game is New Leaf, but it's interesting to learn how Wild World paved the way for later games!

I had a bad esperienze with that game. One day I decided to play this game after I didn't play it for 5 months. I was afraid about because on that town there was one of my favorite villagers ( i want that villager on New Horizons but I don't have it yet ). When I opened the game I decided to check the city map first, but that villager wasn't there. I was so scared. Then I opened the mail box and there was a letter from that villager. He was gone! I was so mad that I deleted the entire town. I spent almost 2 hours to soft resetting the game and founding that villager as the firts 3 villagers! All the happines and the feelings of when I found it gone! I was so frustated, and It wasn't simple to accept it. A day after I created a new Island with the same name and with my character with a goofy face. I also wanted that my town doesn't have any favorite villager, so at least for the start I don't have to be afraid.

I remember playing wild world as a kid, barely able to read correctly, so I would always be confused by how I would always get a boy avatar 😂, and every single first game I would never save, so luckily resetti never got to me, since I never even understood how to save the first game 😂😂😂😂 still, in my opinion, wild world has my favorite music out of the other games.

Wild World! I still play WW, not as often as I play NL though, and hence that makes NL my favorite. I still play NH once a week, but NL daily. Trying to complete the museum. WW is an interesting game, and can be frustrating for me since I started with NH. Going backwards offers its frustration. While the mechanics are the same WW is a harder game IMO. I'm looking forward to seeing your play through, thanks for the video.❤
