If they remade New Leaf before remaking GC or Wild World I would be mad. Unless they fixed the villager dialogue. Then I would be happy with anything at this point. I just feel like if they remade GC or WW and left the dialogue the same as in those games (or even added to what was already there in terms of dialogue) then even more of the newer AC fans would see how much better it used to be and how much we really need the villagers to get back to how they once were. AC was not originally about just making your town exactly how you want it. It was about moving to a new town and living in it while making friends with your neighbors and really getting to know them for who they are as individuals. I really do love a lot of the new features we have had since NL came out and it is stuff we all wished we could do back in the day. I just want villagers that feel alive again and I would be happy. TLDR: Another old AC fan complaining about villager dialogue in the newer games. :P
I'm not going to get my hopes up, but if they made an HD Remaster of the Welcome Amiibo version of New Leaf with the visual, and QoL upgrades of NH, i'd be down for that As long as they don't change much with character dialogue or cut any series... and expand on the Nintendo items instead of cutting them and hardly having anything Would love to see my Robo,Cabin, NL space and Nintendo items again honestly And bring back the monthly item distributions would be really nice, too... At first i was enjoying NH, but eventually i got burnt out and bored of it... at a point it felt more like a chore to play than fun, honestly....
If only we had a device that could make long-distance calls. Maybe one that could fit in our pockets for convenience? Perhaps with the ability to store the contact information of others. Could even make a chime or ring when they're called. Would definitely make it easier to ask the villagers where they're at.
You didn’t know it works on ALL characters? Pft! I remember shouting gibberish or noises into the microphone and I’d usually get the special characters, like for example, Saharah or Kapn responding.
Being able to call out for villagers would be awesome! If the mic rumor isn't true, we could at least type in the villager's name to call out and find them. But a megaphone is way more fun!
It's funny as I never liked oaths in NL nor in NH. I like how the grass left in the most run areas. I know so many hated that but then in NH so many get "the path" which is dirt that looks like it naturally deteriorated like in NL which I find very ironic lol
i do hope with the next animal crossing we would be able to go to a city where everyone else is and of course loading should be as seamless as possible so when ridding the train or bus you can look at the different scenery while the game loads to the new area with people it would be nice to go to the city and you randomly meet other people and have a chat with the potential of inviting them to your own place or vise versa and i do think we should have the option to let others visit our place when we're not in game but not allowing said visitor(s) to physically change anything and only being able to visit and buy clothes or items from the bookshop or go to the museum
Megaphone. I would love this feature to return. One thing I’m wondering is how will the microphone on the next switch work when it’s connected to the tv. I can see it working in handheld mode but for the tv I wonder if it will be an extra you have to buy or if it’s included with a controller. I’m just not sure how it will work, so I’m a little bit sceptical.
My biggest additions id like are to the able sisters/villagers clothing aspects. Id really like the able sisters to be able to tell whether you already have a clothing item in your storage or not. Id also like villagers clothing be able to manipulate more easily. Like when you open thier closet, you can see all of thier clothing options at once, and youd have the option to remove some. That would be awesome
I don't always watch the videos, or watch it the whole way through at one time, or say the word (like I am about to, LOL 🤣); "Megaphone", but I always watch the whole video and you do a Fabulous job, keep it up.
Megaphone! I use mine all the time! Especially when villagers request a particular fish or bug and then dissappear after I've caught it! You'd think that after all this time my husband would be used to me speaking random names into my 2dsxl but each and every time he acts confused!
Things I want in the next animal crossing: Sleep with one of your villager and dream together. Go to your friend’s town or island with one of your villagers. More then 3 tiers when it comes to terraforming. Increase the max villagers to like 15+. Better yet, make it an open world game where you can buy more land with bells as well as buy a permit for more villagers to move in. Bring back the emporium or Nookington with Gracie. Establish relations with NPCs such as K.K. like if you participate in the concert a certain amount of times. More villager interactions like mini games (Bring back hide and seek). More object interactions, like bring back the deserted island escape game. The Switch simply displaying the logo when you interact is lame. Craft clothing with a sewing machine (Have Sable teach me), along with how you make fabrics and using certain patterns. Please, Unbreakable golden tools. Bring back the ores from new leaf like Rubies and Sapphires. These make great crafting materials. Being able to craft multiple items at once.
I would love to have this feature back! I try to talk to each of my villagers while doing my dailies & sometimes I just can't find 1 or 2 villagers. Run all over the island a couple of times, check in the museum, Nook's & Ables & still not find them so being able to walk around & call for them would be great.
