A month later I can’t get this song out of my head. Not even a joke, I was singing it in the shower the other day. Of course the sketch is great but to write a funny bad song that’s also good is such a feat. You’re up there with Tim Heidecker’s award winning band Dekkar in terms of writing bad songs that you can’t forget.

I think the thing that really makes Joel's style stand out is just how bloody long the punchline is. Like usually jokes build up to a punchline and it's done but Joel's punchlines are twice as long as the joke itself.

I'm so happy they finally arrested Stephen. My name is Carla Fong. I am a moderator on an online forum devoted primarily to traveling places by bus. Stephen would come on our forum over and over and leave really strange aggressive and annoying comments to the other members. He would always get into arguments with other members about how much he enjoyed riding on a Greyhound. He was adamant that no one on the planet enjoyed riding a Greyhound more than he did. He seemed to take great joy and pride that afterwhile became really weird. Any time a member would talk about how they rode on the Greyhound bus he would have to comment about it in a very strange way. He was such a nasty annoying little man. We eventually had to ban him when he said he was going to drive over to someone's house in his Volkswagen rabbit and confront someone. Finally, our long bus transportation forum nightmare is over.

This song is better than most artists' whole discography.

What a truly heinous crime. I can’t believe he could betray his friends and family this way. I knew him in highschool growing up. It was really inspiring hearing him talk about his aspirations as a musician. He seemed REALLY into it. It was the only thing he cared about in school. He’d always be writing his lyrics instead of taking notes in class, and I really thought everything paid off when his band went big. He inspired me to follow my own heart working on cars. Taking them apart and seeing them naked and raw. Really getting into their guts and going places no other mechanic would dare to go. I fix cars better than anybody else in the entire state now… but my dreams are soured knowing the truth.

Going back and listening to some of the lyrics after this news, its sick. There's some particularly insidious lines that until you see Steven for who he really is, you would think none the wiser. The song "I literally bone dogs with my erect member at the daycare every weekend" has some pretty distinct yet subtle references to what he got up to.
