Thank you all for keeping my Aunts story alive! Had she not got the support from so many around the world this case could have very easily been swept under the rug or even paid off to cover it up… All of you had a part in keeping her memory alive and seeing this through! This has been the longest 3+ years of our lives! 🙏 Thank you for taking the time to make this video also!
Christopher I’m so sorry you lost your aunt this terrible way. So many prayers for her..and justice for her family. Barry had to be a heartless POS to do what we are sure he did. Also cutting the antlers off live deer is hideous as well. Can’t wait for his prosecution! Hang in there Justice is coming! 🩵🌷
@@TBoss-xb6cl My mother went senile and cancelled her garbage service. She would walk down to the dumpsters at the Community Center to take out her trash.
Barry does ! He’s a big egotistical Bully! Treats animals bad and his wife bad ! He did all this for her money 💰 Greed and if he couldn’t have Suzanne no one could ! The OJ syndrome
“Antlers drop annually in late winter, typically January through March. The dropped antlers are called “sheds” and the process does not hurt the buck. From spring through summer, the antlers grow back and are usually bigger than the previous year.”
Yes, we live in a mountainous region and find the antler sheds in the woods. Deer hunting is popular here. I have never heard of anyone tranquilizing deer to cut off their antlers. I think Barry's goose is cooked.
I grew up amongst hunters and literally never heard about tranquillizing deer to cut off their antlers until this case. It seems like a laughable excuse
Enjoy your last days of freedom Barry! It’s just a matter of time. One of the saddest things about this story is her daughters have sided with her killer.
I get your point about the daughters but I’m not sure I agree. You can love and support your parents, your spouse, your kids, and any number of people while still accepting that they have done very bad things. I get that impulse too. It’s complicated. If some random guy killed my mom, I would not be on his side. But if my dad or my son did the same, I would probably be on his side. There is no play book for that, how to react when your dad kills your mom, no appropriate response. But I agree that it’s tragic in any case.
He shouldn't have killed her, but she also shouldn't have cheated on him. He's financially supporting this ditz and she's using his money for travel expenses to go meet her lover. Yeah that'd plss a guy off.
@@KingfishStevens-di9jiSuzanne had to money not Barry … that’s why he killed her cause he owed her I believe I read 450,000 she loaned him from her inheritance! And he lost it in silver or other stocks ! She had the Money with her dead he still keeps the money !
Last night on Nancy Grace a friend of Suzanne’s pointed out that the cap to the tranquilizer gun was found in the dryer with one of his daughters bed sheets. The friend wondered why the daughter, who had been living away from home, had her bed sheets in the dryer. That made her think she probably ran into her daughter's room, locked the door and he broke it to get to her in his rage. Which is why the cap to the tranq gun was found with the sheets in the dryer. The small piece of wood found in her grave could be part of the door linking Barry to the crime. 🤔 .
The girls were both coming home after the Utah trip, so, I don't find it odd that the sheets were in the dryer. I always provide freshly washed bedding for company. Even if the little wood piece IS part of the door- it only ties the house- to the woman who lived there. What we need is to put BAM in Barry's possession and something that puts Barry at the scene of the crime at the time of death....
That is so cool I never realised it was actually a door that people go through that link them to a crime if they know that they won’t go through that door now will they 😂
Barry Morphew gives me Fotis Dulos vibes. Both work in construction. Both were having issues with significant others. Both ladies went missing. Both idiots deny being involved. Very sad.
This man disgusts me, Dr. Grande. Any man that would tranquillize and animal just to cut their antlers off is a cruel human being and it makes me wonder what Suzanne might’ve possibly went through the moments before her death. Thank you, Dr. Grande, for your analysis, always spot on.
The theory of the people who have followed this case from the beginning is that BM ended Suzanne's life on Friday, May 8. BM had control of Suzanne's phone and Barry was the author of the texts to Jeff from Friday afternoon to Saturday. The "selfie" was an old photon from a previous vacation. The "conversation" ended when Jeff suggested that they get on WhatsApp - and it would be voice and video. BM couldn't fake that.
Okay, this is interesting. The photo should have the original time stamp on it though. I remember reading that the weather wasn’t that great on the Saturday... not really sunbathing weather. Other than that it’s really just the subtle differences in messaging styles that are hard to perfect over lots of messages. Suzanne also messaged with her old friend about wedding arrangements - didn’t the friend say the messages stopped on the Saturday evening? But that could have been the plan.
@@shelso1300 it certainly took a long time for investigators to discover the existence of that relationship… so certainly their communication appears to have been well hidden. I’d have thought it would have been possible for investigators to obtain recently deleted message information from Apple or WhatsApp earlier on in the investigation. I know personal users can’t recover deleted messages without a back-up but I imagine company technology enables recovery on an individual basis for these investigations.
I agree. I believe he did something the night the neighbor heard equipment on the beach front property. I think he intended on burying her there, but when the neighbor woke up, he had to move her. Or something like that.
I really hope they are able to bring justice for Suzanne... there are so many circumstances in this case directly pointing at Barry as the perpetrator of this murder
@@adotintheshark4848 It said the foreign DNA was connected to other cases so what I'm thinking is that he hired a hitman to do it which would explain the other killings
If I’ve understood it right from the “it’s a crime” channel the other dNA was a partial match for the wanted criminal. I think they had a full profile but it was from a direct line male relative of the wanted person. I also wonder if there was an accomplice. Am I correct that Barry claimed a Suzanne was probably in Mexico as around $70,000?? had been taken from the safe? Could that cash have been used by Barry as payment? This would all have required planning and have been premeditated. But what motive would there have been? Was it the potential financial implications of a future divorce? All very strange and I’m sure the authorities are doing their best and want to make sure they have a watertight case this time.
I feel bad for the daughters, losing their mother and then not being able to realise their fathers guilt and sticking to him. It must be a rough journey to get to accepting the truth one day.
A high school friend who knew him since they were young said he had always had a narcissistic personality/ controlling. It all makes sense, with the sedatives found in her body by autopsy. Sooo many red flags. SAD!!
I think so too, especially in light of the conversations he was having with Suzanne's elderly father following her "disappearance" Barry was also having an affair.
Thank you for covering this with the update Dr. Grande. I still think the husband did it. He was angry at her affair and didn't want to split assets in a divorce.
@@tarstarkuszYeah when infidelity is involved in a divorce the offending party should get absolutely nothing. It's not a strange concpt we already apply it other places. If you do something bad at a job and get fired, they don't owe you severance pay.
Don't forget he was also wandering around in the woods by the house as he arrived home, which he said was him looking for a turkey his daughter killed -- turkey, chipmunks & elk.
maybe... but narcissistic psychopaths usually sleep very well.....they think they're always the smartest in the room, lack empathy,r arrogant, lack having a conscience......etc...etc....because they r evil
I lived in Colorado@ the time. Something unsaid here is Suzanne had inherited a large sum of money before her death, & Barry had an affair too. I think Barry is guilty. Great analysis Dr. Grande ❤
How did he have an affair with , quote the name or source . The FBI said he was not involved in an affair. Get your facts straight and stop spreading misinformation.
@@roberthopkins3621wasn’t it some darke or drake chic, she got arrested for breaking into their house I remember. Idk idc about those details I only care about evidence that he’s a murderer bc right now it’s pretty strong circumstantial evidence imo given what they already had and now they have her body and these tox results and some bullet they found… what’s sad is if he did it and her daughters are of course standing by his side all this time. Taking a parent away from their children is the ultimate cruelty. And then to have them going to bat for you if you know all along you did it? Super evil stuff.
This was covered on The Interview Room’s recent live. Investigators had determined from locals that Barry had been having an affair with a lady called Drake for around two years? at the time of Suzanne’s disappearance. Authorities couldn’t prove this was the case but they did watch Barry and they have footage of the pair on Valentine’s Day 2021. I know this is almost a year after the disappearance so nothing conclusive but it was the same lady as mentioned by locals. The investigation findings were covered from around the 52 minute point and shows extracts from the police report providing name, photo and details.
@@brendaford4920 well the FBI checked all of his Phone records and said he wasn’t having a affair, just like they checked Suzanne’s and said she was having a affair. I do not believe for one second the FBI is lying for Barry . Small town gossip doesn’t prove anything.
I watch your show pretty much everyday. This particular episode was especially interesting due to the initial uncertainty... You almost never go "do I think this person is guilty in reality?... Here are my thoughts..." My eyes got wide like WHAT... Lol... You cover really interesting cases and I always enjoy your point of view. I feel like your channel serves a few purposes: your dry humor is really entertaining and your analysis of these cases are so adept and so intellectually satisfying... But you also teach your audience to think deeply and critically about them... I just love your work so much, man.
Excellent diagnosis of this horrible story. Even before I heard all of your analysis….I felt Barry was guilty. 🌵 On the bright side, Raise your hand if you’re enjoying Dr. G’s shirt! 🙋♀️🌵
I have many points to make. #1-I am a genealogist trained by a professional decades ago (ex-Mormon). I use DNA to help people find their birth parents. There is misinformation going around about the “other guys” DNA found. It is ONLY a PARTIAL match. That means it is a RELATIVE of the sex offender in the CODUS data base. This type of DNA can be left by a safety inspection when a registration was taken in or out of the glove box. Or maybe Barry did have a helper, perhaps one of his construction workers, to help move a body. #2-I have been a UT mtn biker for 2 decades. I’ve had a couple of serious bike crashes, one I had to ride out or die, literally. I did not abandon my bike. I did not remove my helmet. No kidnapper is going to take the time to: ditch a bike, have you take off your helmet, & ditch the helmet elsewhere. Noooo, he’s going to snatch and get the hell outta dodge. #3-I was married to a hunter for 20 years and he NEVER tranquilized an animal to steal its antlers. Barry is a douchebag. That is illegal. #4-I’m a 20+ year ICU RN and those tranquilizing drugs that Barry admitted he had the day before would drop an animal that weighs up to 1500lbs. It would kill a little thing like Suzanne. He was definitely chasing HER around the house and she was running for her life. #4-That mountain Lion Barry said might have taken her. I bet he thinks it dragged her 45 miles south and buried her there too…
Thanks for explaining. I thought it was a partial profile. Like, they cannot be certain of the match due to the process used and the amount, etc. But, I am probably wrong. In any case, the jury could get just as confused as all of us.
The dartgun being inoperable is irrelevant. The drug is the critical element - it can be directly injected by syringe. The unidentified DNA is not that of an unidentified killer - it is a relative of the killer. Again, an irrelevant fact. If there are exculpertory facts these are not among them.
Ladies, when I left my abusive husband of 30 years, I planned for months. I took my dogs, my jeep and one suitcase and I left. He didn’t know where I was for months. He was extremely punitive and vengeful - but I did get away and started my life over with a wonderful man who is now my husband . Just leave quietly and tell no one you are planning your exit strategy. Be safe - Godspeed to you all.
@@mrwilliamwonder no I had my two dogs and some good friends . And then one of my friends became a boyfriend. Not sure I could build a life with him but we actually are doing so - and have been. But more importantly and above all else , we are still friends first and foremost and my ex and I were never friends. We never actually liked each other after the first few years. I wasted many important years with someone I did not like or respect and I’m sure he felt the same.
@@lyndajamrozik4786 That must be a hard thing to say after 30 years, most of them wasted. I had a girl who 40 years ago used, manipulated and cheated on me and really hurt me at the time. When I looked her up on Facebook and found out what was up, I ended up meeting her eldest daughter and like her even better! Haha.
@ratdad48 He hasn't been brought back to court and tried in light of this new evidence. That's why he hasn't been found guilty... YET. Do you really think it's still a moot point? I don't know what the court will find, but IMHO he's just as guilty of murder as his wife was of cheating.
@@zovalentine7305yes, I wonder how much of Suzanne’s inheritance will be left for her daughters? Suzanne would have wanted them to be financially secure.
Yes, we always go three towns over to throw our trash away in several different trash cans. That's not suspicious at all. He should just get a sign that says " i unalived my wife arrest me please"

@@majorpwner241 To be fair? To who? To the killer or to the victim? Yeah, that's not sus or a coincidence at all when you combine the other evidence against the killer. Devil's advocate much?
@@OGLizardKing Lol. "Zero accountability". Another incel that doesn't understand that "adultery" isn't a crime by law but murder is. Her murderer is in jail now until the day he dies. "Play stupid games..."
He never would have won that anyway. It's possible he filed those charges with no intention of pushing them to trial because no decent lawyer would think he'd win and he would make himself vulnerable to discovery. I think it's just a ploy to look innocent.
I’ve always wondered how do people get ahold of all these medications? I couldn’t even get Tylenol with codeine after my oral surgery, but people seem to have access to potent and potentially dangerous sort of drugs. Did he have prescriptions for this drugs? As far as a know he is not a medical doctor nor a veterinarian. Can you just walk into a vet clinic or a store and purchase tranquillisers?
Who immobilizes deer and removes their antlers? Is this even legal? Or is it just about collection, cruelty, control? - the sort of husband I think Barry was.
@@saltinawenchito898 sometimes they do have problems and need to be sedated for the antler's removal. Not that I'm commenting on this case, just that this is a genuine procedure that a vet may have to carry out 👍
Vets don’t typically treat wild deer. At the time of year that Suzanne went missing the deer would be in the early stages of growing new horns, as they shed in January February and even into early March.
BM never thought his wife’s disappearance would gain such media attention as it did! What a shock when true crime networks and volunteer search groups picked up the story. He thought he did the perfect crime in his little town, but that was the mistake that his egocentric thinking overlooked. I hope he is currently terrified, as she must have been. Dr. G is correct, after all the creatures Bear Bear slaughtered, his punishment and ridicule will be karma for the innocent victims. …Ah, your closing statement caused my devious mind to riff on the thought that Bear Bear was framed by his loving and lovely daughters! Just saying…
@@cecilr7986oh I know!… but when you’ve actually lived through and grown up in that type of environment it has a very deep effect. This is purely speculative but if Barry constantly eroded respect for Suzanne by criticising her or minimising her worth or achievements the girls would never have been able to see the best of their mum. I believe Barry may have “won” the girls over years ago… if indeed that was the type of home-life they had. I can’t be sure but some of this reminds me of my own experience and that’s what I’m drawing upon.
Suh-lie-duh, Colorado We went camping there, just a month before her body was recovered. I saw a missing person flyer with Suzanne's photo still there in a local business. 😢
The FBI has said this all along . He didn't fool them for a minute. When the husband starts out telling lies, you can bet your sweet britches, he's guilty..
Relatively innocent people (we're all guilty of something) learn to tell lies as a defense mechanism too sometimes. I used to lie an awful lot growing up because I had an abusive person in my family and I felt it was the easiest way to avoid being hurt. I learned as an adult that the truth frees you, but that took me well into adulthood to figure out. Not everyone does.
Like many, Suzanne had a premonition about Barry harming her. Dont tell the person you are leaving. You just leave. Women wrote Dear John letters, popular in the 1960s & 1970s. Men left for milk and never returned.

The really weird thing about finding Suzanne’s buried remains, is that detectives were actually looking for another missing woman via land that her “date” had some connection to. Investigators need to look at his DNA and determine if he also had access to such tranquilizers. There are just so many unusual twists & turns in this murder mystery.
*So they want me to believe that DNA in Suzanne's car might be the perp...but why go through all the staging of the bicycle (how would he even know she biked) and why no fingerprints on the bike if he was so lackadaisical about leaving his finger prints in the car?*
