Coward really is a town in South Carolina, a very small rural town. No stop light, a convenience store, a tiny "park" and that's about it. Most of the women aren't beauty queens, but the men are no great catch either. Some of my family members live in that area and went to the same school. She was always "manly looking" according to them. Sometimes, she helped my uncle working on his tobacco farm. Her older sister still lives in the area, in their parents' home, not too far from one of my aunts.
Dear Dr Grande your dry sense of humor is just incredible. Well done. If she had moved back in and paid the taxes? The trailor was pulled away and the body discovered. Oh, dear.
With my illness, managing simple tasks are almost impossible, for instance, I will huddle in fear for months, unable to open emails, fill in important paperwork, reach out to mental health help. Make and attend doctor visits...some of these things can take as long as 6 months to persuade myself to even make an important phone call. BUT I TELL YA. If I had my dead husband's corpse under a trailer on land with an abode on it, where I could live for free (that's one BIG issue delt with, rent/mortgage) and all I had to do was pay taxes twice a year (that's how taxes are collected where I live), you dawn sure I would get my shit together; and, if I couldn't, would reach out to a friend or put a notice on line for a roommate/tenant and that would give me extra income and if I'm paralyzed in fear, set it all up with the bank so that it's automatic. So I've got free rent, extra income, and I stay out of jail. She has to pay rent somewhere and even if she didn't, she could have charged rent. (Sounds like she didn't even get the sale money since the municipality probably oy sold the land for what they were owed. I would be SO GRATEFUL to have this miracle drop in my lap that I wouldn't squander it. I'm furious she let such trivial issues ruin everything for her.
I painfully relate to this fear/chronic illness and for real about under the trailer, thats a different kind of anxiety motivator and of course, the fear of prison FFS !!!🤦 💚
This analysis was very well written, and the humor delivered with no falter in expression is simply exceptional. This is a video that I will remember for the excellent use of puns and alliteration. Well done.
There are many lesbian women that marry men believe it or not. And the older the man is the better, because that means he'll croak soon and leave everything to her. A lot of these butch women have a side piece, a gf. They marry a man for health insurance, money and sperm. How do get a man to marry a woman like this? I've heard that the woman says he can watch while she has exx with her gf, or she lets him join in.
13:56 - Dr. Grande is the King of Alliteration! All those words beginning with an "M" that stretched a mile, or at least a very long sentence. You the Boss!
Eh, I think it’s more like gambling addiction is an indicator of mental health issues, especially to the point of them committing crimes/lying to support their habit. It’s more like a symptom but very problematic nonetheless.
Admiring your full force alliteration in the ending of this piece! Your dry wit and puns are admirable! Still sucks about this poor man and people not doing their Jobs properly!
Todd, idea for an episode - do the truck puller guy that hired the kid from home depot that looked like him, faked his death in garage - was a forensic files episode
Those of us on the spectrum appreciate these unusual idiosyncrasies the Doc puts in his videos,, I get an odd satisfaction out of them and especially the addition to a situation like Randy's reasons for wanting a divorce capped of by, "mostly because of the urder-May part"...
@@babyjesuslovesme1219 The Doc knows his audience,, I think it's a kinda cute aspect of personality, little quirks are what separates us from the animal kingdom and republicans lol...☮️
"Cadaver dogs" are not 100% good at their "job". It's not a pseudo science, & they can often find human remains, but they are known to make false "hits" & do miss some things entirely. Definitely not foolproof
She concealed the body with the popular fragrance freshener Febreeze from B&M Bargains (not an ad, I am not affiliated with B&M Bargains nor Frebeeze. I do not condone the use of a home fabric freshener for concealing human remains)
In my marriage, my husband does most of the housework, and I do carpentry, livestock care and outside heavy work. I was raised much like Brenda. I hunted, fished and knew woodcraft from an early age. The difference between Brenda and me is that I'm not a gambler or a criminal. 🎉
As to why she didn't move the dead body, or stay in the trailer: it WAS her conscientiousness-- or paranoid psychosis-- that gave her away. Dr. Todd doesn't understand that it's a terrifying prospect to live with-- let alone MOVE, a dead body by yourself, if you've never done it before-- especially if you MURDERED the innocent person; and if you ask anyone else to help, you have WITNESSES. She wasn't mentally stable to begin with, so she was just too terrified to stay there-- i.e. she feared his GHOST, and her "tell-tale heart."
Dr Grande, I like how the way you narrate the story. Very clear and interesting. Thank you. Do you think that time when the police were searching under the trailer, the dead body wasn't really there? And only after their investigation, that's when she put the dead body there, since the police won't be searching there again?
How could they let her out on bail?! It was clear she posed a life-threatening danger to him! This was so unnecessary, and it isn't the only case where it went like this
Probably eye catching and gets more views for the channel and he said that other people in the area said she was more manly than some of the local guys plus he tends to make jokes about the perpetraitors. Maybe some empathy dissolves for her after hearing about the murder part 🤷♀️
Exactly, as the comment above says. I think partially because he always uses very descriptive titles, & is aware of what will grab the eye and get views. Good creators pay attention to this. Look through his video list - he often uses adjectives that describe what the subject is most known for, is an unusual trait, or is their most pronounced feature. In this case he states she was well described as masculine or "hard-looking," a "manly man" so to speak. I don't think he necessarily meant offense, rather was just relaying the background information from his research. And yeah, as the person above states, I think murderers get a little less sympathy or care in making them look good once they've shown who they really are inside. Some may find her outward appearance ugly, some may not care and say it's personality that counts - like Randy. Well she's shown she's ugly on the inside too. I don't know if that makes sense... I get where OP is coming from but I don't see Dr. Grande as coming off as being offensive in any way.
Randy said he wanted to work things out with her after she tried to kill him, after he sought divorce proceedings, after saying he was scared to death of her and believed she would continue trying to kill him?? Hogwash. She wasn’t even clever enough to come up with a more plausible defense.
Sooooo you know you offed your hubby and the only evidence that can convict you is sitting out in the open. It'll stay hidden as long as you pay the property tax. What do you do? Well of course, you don't pay, allow it to be sold, and the entire gig uncovered! You can't even write this stuff cause no one would think it's even believable 💀🙄
