► Twitch: / oddbod done with this category, fun idea but gambling a pace on a 1 frame trick at the end isn't very fun (in call with friends sorry for confusing audio)
For anybody peeping this for strats: in the room above bubble wand, my strat is to throw the firework to the right on top of the spikes to distract the ghost, so you can easily grab the egg in the little cave below. In this run, I accidentally threw it in the abyss, so I just had to improvise there, which is why I freaked out. I still can't believe I lived that at 1HP, super lucky.
One thing I haven't seen anyone do is the insta frisbee surfing. If you throw the frisbee right before you reach the peak of your jump you'll land on it mid-air. And we all know that frisbee surfing is faster than running.
@@wuttut3276 It's hard to do, and more importantly, the dog runs at you like it's in heat when the disc is on screen, which may prematurely damage you without good rng, even if you miss the trick.
I keep trying to use the flute wrong warp and it always sends me to the room right above where I need to teleport to. Any ideas why and how I can get to the right room?
You need to press inventory on frame2 after wrong warping to cancel the stun. If it shows the room above, you pressed inventory on frame1, so you need to go later.
@@Oof_My_Dude04 Good luck. Also correction though: - if you see the room above, you are way late on the inventory press - if you see the original warp location (bunny room), you are on frame1, so too early - if you see the room you want to wrong warp too but are getting stunned, you are a slightly too late
Impossible to tell so close after release, but with current strats you can probably 3:1X at least. But optimizing this isn't particularly fun, would involve hitting a lot of frame-tight frisbee tricks and jumps, praying for ghost RNG to save time here and there, and then gambling all that on the warp at the end.
Me: Just finished my first main quest run at 24 hours, wondering how I'm ever going to get the 30 minute achievement This guy: Finished the game in under 4 minutes, even with making mistakes
You are meant to be able to warp with the flute. However, standing half on a bubble the way he did overwrites your vertical position when you warp. So horizontal location of the warp, vertical location of the bubble, and you end up right outside the ending area.
When the platform is slightly lower than the water, it will bounce you automatically. You don't need to press jump button. Every speedrun uses this trick. @@magicflip1821
Turn the crank roughly one full rotation and then jump in the water. It's not even a jump really, in the sense that you don't press jump out of the water again or anything. You just jump in and press nothing and it pops you out like that. Not really sure why it works, something weird with water and platform physics and them happening at the same time or something. But it's all about the crank position.
