Totally agree. I don't like humans or human things in animals decks. Animals' traits are amazing in of themselves without people's influence.

I enjoyed your first one you did on animals decks so much and it inspired me, so I mentioned doing one and it never happened. How on earth you managed to stay so concise I don't know. It was fab hearing your different insights into each and how some may be used differently to others. Plus there was some in there I've not seen around much and so I will hunt your videos walkthroughs down of those too. Today I received the Animal Speak Runes and I am totally loving them! They are just beautiful, the wooden runes feel so pleasant to touch and the test reading I tried for a friend's relationship was very precise and made a lot of sense. I actually was surprised at how well these read! There is a lot of useful practical information in the guidebook. For rune purists this set must feel a little odd, though. I just love all this animal decks and stuff... and your video(s)!!

I love animal decks too! I have way too many but when I see another one I am like "Look!!! An animal deck!! Let's buy it!" Lol!! But, you forgot your Animal Wisdom tarot, the one you use for children astrological birth charts 😉

This helped so much! Thank you for a thorough review. We have same favorites, but I was unsure of the Animal Spirit deck, but now I really think the bejeweled animal spirit would appeal to my children, the colour and whimsy stands out for sure!

Hi Kelly loved all of this and did try to purchase Jody Bergsma's Spirit of the Animals but Chapter's never had it and I really love what I settled for Messages from Your Animal Spirit Guides Oracle by Steven Farmer. Only had the deck a few days but my grandchildren and I are finding it special. Thank you again Kelly I pulled you the Roadrunner ...says ....Keep your sense of humor and don't take things so seriously. Anyway hope you like it I think your videos are fantastic and love your great sense of humor always.

I have the Baron-Reid deck and I love it, especially the eyes of the predators are mesmerizing (the black panther card is just WOW!). Stunning artwork in this one. And it is all your fault again that I just ordered the deck by Frau Seddon Boulet. I saw the tiger card and surrendered. ;-)

That wolv pack tarot/oracle looks really interesting. Haven't seen it online in any reviews. Would love to see a walkthrough of it if you can find the time to do it anytime. I think you forgot the animal wisdom tarot or you just gave it away. Really been struggling to choose between that and the animal totem cause they're both similiar. Also since we're talking about animal spirit and energy I would like to ask if you have a book on topic that you can recomment. They're so many out there and I don't know which one to choose. Nice collection! :) The only animal tarot deck I have is Anima Mundi, which I got recently. I'm also interested in Tarot Fauna. For animal oracles, which I definitely prefer (despite tarot being my preferred card system by far), I also have and love the Secret Language of Animals. Also have the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit, which like you I don't use a ton but I do like -- I take the 'spirit' suit out when I use it because when I'm looking for an animal energy I just don't know what to do when something 'mystical' turns up. I also have one another you might really love -- the Birds Oracle! It's available on Etsy and Kasia at Tarot Map has a video on it. It includes a lot of birds from different parts of the world, 44 cards, thick matte cardstock, beautiful artwork, no humans, no human objects that I can think of, and the guidebook is nice to read as well.

More decks to add to my long list. LOL I am 100% on board with you when it comes to animals depicted as being dead, wounded or implements sticking out of them. For a ten of swords card in an animal deck, what is wrong with using a porcupine? You can't get more stabbed than that! LOL You could show it with only ten spikes as if it had recently been in a fight, laying down to rest, and had lost them all but ten. This is a natural event in the wild, they fight, so it is far more exceptable as long as you don't use gore in his wound marks. Unlike you though, I love the pastels used in the Spritsong. It was one of the things that drove me to buy it. A lot of people are still frightened by the Tarot so you need to help them over this by using different decks that are not as frightening. Spiritsong is one of those decks. The pastels calm, the animals are not frightening. Except for the spider, every deck that uses this imagery needs to include an alternate card for the arachnophobia people. I get it with the web meaning, just don't show the spider inside.

I have my spiritsong tarot. I was hoping for an animal deck that is more associated with their traits. Is there any deck that's like that?
