Metahuman's options for eyebrows are so bad that I actually don't use the service entirely just for that reason. They always look like they're poorly plucked or make you look like you have low testosterone. Know anyway to customize beyond their limited options?
Be sure to watch Part 1 if you haven't already! Link in the description. Also, to clarify: The beginning part where I explain teeth poses and preparing for performance/Mesh to Metahuman, you need to already have your poses selected like we did in the first video BEFORE you do what I showed. I had already done it so I didn't do it again in the example. Leave a comment if you have any questions!
o you know by any chance how to import metahuman with the animation and everything textures, hair ect. In to a 3D Program like blender or similar to then render it there?
I'm trying to glue together mixamo body animation with metahuman animator face sequence. Result: Head's floating while body moves by itself. Do you have a solution for this?
If you're talking about how your head is disconnected from the body, that's a whole other video. Probably will do that video next. If you don't include neck motion in the performance and you make sure to bake your animation, that may fix it but I'm not 100% on that
Thanks! Not sure where you're stuck, but if you've done everything here you are really close to making that happen already. You can animate the body the same way we animated the face. Just right click on Body in the sequencer and under Animation there are a ton of default body movements. Changing the clothes after whatever you initially chose is a little bit harder though. As far as the head rotation, once you've baked your face and body animations, you should be able to use the control rig and just click and drag to rotate like with anything else
OK. Now what after I bake to control rig? What does that let me do or just what is it and why does it matter? Regardless, this was great and really helped me dive in. If anyone is having problems with livelink connections, get you IP addresses correct and don't touch the port numbers as well as turning off/excluding your firewall. I got it to connect just fine after I stopped fucking with it and didn't change the ports for the phone or the target. Now I have to look up why you bake to a control rig. I would have loved a little better stopping point by taking us back to the main viewer and "back to one" as they say. Also going to binge your content now. Never touched Unreal and two days later (taking an angry sleep to contemplate the connection issue) and I can export a ton of facial animations that I need for our game. Thank you sir! Wait a second....are you in Puyallup? If so, I am around there too. lol
Why do you have the Metahuman without a shirt is it because if the head moves too much it will brake true the shirt I did one with the shirt on and the head was breaking true the shirt!
I have it without a shirt for two reasons. One is because it looks really funny naked wearing flip-flops. The other is that it demonstrates the detached head better, which is what my latest video is about. If your Metahuman's head is breaking through the shirt, be sure to watch this video to fix it!: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lERKslkPKYg.html
I’m getting an error when I hit the process button in the Metahuman Performance. It says “The Processing Pipeline failed with an error.” Any ideas on how to fix this? It’s driving me crazy this weekend!
Did you select the Metahuman Identity you created in the "Metahuman Identity" dropdown, select your performance under Footage Capture Data, then select a start frame and an end frame? If you did all those things, I can't imagine why it wouldn't work. Maybe some kinda bug? Try making a new performance and see if that one works. Also make sure you have at least one good frontal frame included in the footage.
If you've already clicked the "+ADD" button, then found a teeth pose in the footage and promoted the frame (by clicking the little + button at the bottom-center of the screen), then you have to select "Neutral Pose" at the panel on the top left and then select "Teeth Pose" again to make it show up. Its just a little finicky
