What do you guys wanna know how to do with Metahuman Animator? (besides the basic animating part, which is next) Let me know, maybe I'll make a video about it!
Just keep going! Eventually I'd like to know if Animator can animate a clothed figure mesh imported from, say, DAZ studio, and animate the clothes too ... I mean, can it all be translated into a MetaHuman figure and then dealt with ... Because I bought tons of DAZ stuff before UE5 came out and I'm hoping I can use them.

Im sure that I'm not wrong but this has nothing to do with Lidar. It's the front TrueDepth Camera, which is responsible for FaceID functionality in iPhones and uses the same technique to scan face for UE app,.
why can't I find the model in the editor even if I do everything correctly? I also get the message that the backend job was successful. Any ideas on how to check this?
Probably because of the depth information from the iPhone camera that is not saved in a normal photo. And I think that by standardization too, since the user could send images of dubious quality and harm the generation of the model.
Can someone help me. I'll got my live link face footage transfered to my computer via iTunes and imported everything as live link archive. Everything seems to be there, depth, lens information....etc. but the video frames folder seems to be empty in UE although it is not. When I open the folder in Windows it contains an image sequence. Metahuman identity create component from footage just creates a blank sequence???? Maybe someone had the same issues.
This issue might not be relevant to you anymore, lol, but in case someone else encounters a similar problem, try changing the folder location, for example, from Downloads to Disk D, and it should work. Most likely, the issue is related to access permissions.
As an addendum to the creation of the Metahuman Identity just a few seconds of video focusing on your face from the front, left and right are enough, maybe adding more frames from other angles will help, maybe not. But it is not necessary to make spiral and very long captures. And you forgot to do the teeth position adjustment to fit the model's teeth.

@@UnrealApprentice I couldn't import the quequed files for almost whole day... then I solved the problem by changing my iphone's name. Iphone setting-general-about-name(do not use non-english character!). for someone may need it. Good luck!
