Animated Boat Tutorial in Blender 3.2 | Polygon Runway

(Brief, small BreakDown for further preview) Thank You @Polygon Runway for such a great content! 1) Open Blender and create a new scene (Ctrl+N). 2) Create a plane object (Shift+A > Mesh > Plane) and scale it up to a large size to represent the sea (S). 3) Add a mesh object to represent the boat (Shift+A > Mesh), and position it above the plane object (G). 4) In the "Timeline" window, set the current frame to 1 (Left Arrow) and move the boat to the starting position for the animation (G). 5) Set the current frame to a number further in the timeline (e.g. 50) (Right Arrow), and move the boat to its ending position (G). 6) In the "Graph Editor," select the boat object (Right Click) and insert a keyframe for its location (I). 7) Repeat this process for each keyframe you want to add, adjusting the boat's position and rotation as needed to create the desired motion (G, R). 8) When you are finished adding keyframes, press Alt+A to play the animation and see how it looks. 9) If you want to make any changes to the animation, you can go back and adjust the keyframes in the Graph Editor (Tab).

On 7:50 Extrude Faces Along Normals doesn't do the same trick for me as shown. The edges keep sticking together instead of a slight gap between them. How do I fix this?

Need help, even if I join the objects in one (10:10), when I move them, they all move, but when I try to rotate only the main one rotates. Is it some Add-ons that I must activate or some setting that I need change??

I would like to say something, i really enjoy your videos and thank you for them. But, it would be really nice if you explain every detail of render settings, because some of these videos, you don't and for example I try to render in this video's project, you didn't mention render max sample value and I try to render this animation in the max sample. I figured out myself what the problem was, but as I said if you mentioned render settings properly in this video I would not have to render this since last night!!!!!!!!!

I gave up on this one. I couldn't set my objets to "parent". I would select tem, press shift+p and "object" and nothing would happen. So I figure it would be a problem later when trying to animate it so I gave up.

Hello, i have some AR projects at work, so i need to convert my models and animations to USDZ format ( for ipad tablets). The thing is the AR software from the tablets is not recognizing blender modifiers (displacement maps etc), only basic keyframe. Is there any posibility to auto keyframe the entire animation so i can play it in AR? Thanks!

This is a good tutorial on how to use blender, but please look into boat construction and don't use this model for any project. I know it's just meant to be cute and would maybe work for a toy, but it's not functional as a sailing vessel. This might seem just nit picky and it's fine if you think that, but also if you want to animate a character actually using the boat then you are going to run into issues. That "bench" is not where a person would sit in that size sailboat for the reason that they would have to be very flexible anytime they tacked (made a turn).
