YES!!! I've forgotten to mention it in the video - Himeko said the exact same lines to Kiana "you MUST do the same thing and end my life". I guess history does repeat itself. Honkai story-writers really started off with emotional impact for HSR huh :')

According to Void Archives the Sky People put a target on HSR Himeko and/or the HSR universe. We haven't seen VA or the Sky People in HSR so it is hard to judge. I would say she is save for now

Idk but i think Jingliu still alive, i guess ? Since we saw her in Interstellar Journey trailer. So she might me playable in the future. And of course this is just my guess
I love how when Jing Yuan goes to challenge Jing Yun, she smirks when she hears him repeat the Cloud Knight's oath before she begins her attack. Its also beautiful how he acts defensively until there is no turning back and rather than prolong the fight he uses all his power in one move to kill her in a single strike.

I just watched this short and ohhh my Saturn, I am literally tear up on the first reaction, Like I am literally on a personal journey to regather and record all the memories of my past before saying farewell to it. So this short is literally perfectly captured what I am going thought now before I will continue to face against the worries of the future. (Also I love how this is the different reverse ver of Final Lesson.)
This video is the definition of relatable for me😂tears flooded my bed when Jingyuan did his ultimate. My poor baby didn’t deserve this..and for the love of god Hoyo don’t kill him or Yanqing off or I’m flipping tables😭
I think we have all cried at so many Mihoyo animation that crying when watching one has become a natural physiological reaction at this point. I mean like it only took a 4 minute glimpse into the past of character we hardly knew to ball our eyes out. which is not to say that this short was bad I'm saying that crying for this fandom is just the norm.

I was SOO emotional when I first saw this animated short, and been searching for reaction videos on RU-vid ever since, but almost all the reaction were more focus on the "power" of Jingyuan and the hype of his character (which is fine, but doesn't strike me as deep as this.) Yours finally made me feel like we are on the same vibe xD Also I assume you are already quite far in the story now; I just wanna say that if you listen carefully, on the third phse of Phantylia, a setion of the music is the same melody as in this music. When I heard it I was sooo emotional, like all the struggle, all that made Jingyuan who he is now. It's so perfectly done and subtle. I hope if you didn't notice that, you would be happy to know about it now :)

It keep remind me of 7-swords VN though out the video I really hope we could save Jingliu at the end of Xianzhou Especially the unknow entity is helping Jing Yuan get away from Jingliu, not like in Jarilo-VI
I won't lie, this hit me surprisingly hard, too. I think the part that got me the most is when Jingliu smiles at her last moment... _Well that, and the fact that she reminds me of Fu Hua._ She's HoYo's best character, _and I will hear no arguments otherwise._
OK HERE ME OUT Iirc in Hi3, Ma Yanqing (one of Azure Empyrea's disciple) killed the enemy faction's Jing Yuan.. what if history repeats itself too... what if one day Jing Yuan gets mara struck, and his disciple Yanqing will be the one who kills him just Jing Yuan killing his master too... now the lore alligns cause Yanqing will once again kille "Jing Yuan"

I am actually passing on Kafka based on the rumor that Jingliu will be on the banner in 1.4. That is how much I love AmaLee as a VA. What’s really cool is she and Alejandro Saab/Cy Yu are really good friends and are always collating with one another on VTubing streams.

I don’t even talk about some other details like what path chose Yanqinq and you can find this in the game. Don’t skip story and talk to characters
@@yar1542 yes i did finish the story and everything that happened in this short happened in the past. You won't miss anything because Jingliu was never mentioned to be Jing Yuan's master nor was she mentioned at all. Whichever order you do you will still know Yanqing is Jing yuen's disciple. It's not like the current story in the game is about jing yuen telling his sob story about his master and we need to watch this short as the finale.
Its quite sad. I dont think they get infected in a sense. I think its the fate of every last one of the long life Xianzhou, also Jing Yuan one day. Its a ever repeating cycle and his student one day has to put down the master...

Had a thought If they go through the: Yanqing is infected, and Jing Yuan has to exterminate him-- Jing Yuan would likely have the thought of "this is why she wanted me to take her out before she could hurt her own student" And he pulls a Himeko to only incapacitate his student without killing him, even if he himself dies in the process They wouldnt blatantly have a repeat of history because Hoyo is a special kind of sadistic Jing Yuan is training him to fight him in the case he becomes infected like Jingliu-- but that might come back to bite him if Yanqing is the one who becomes infected

English version is quite good ngl, but the CN and JP ones just hit different. The CN because it has Chinese background with Chinese characters, and the JP just because the anime style.
they did a great job with this one, as expected from Honkai don't think she survived that blow, but seeing her in trailer..maybe , or like in anime they show possible playable characters. I may continue with Serval, try and get tingyun only...skip everything till Kafka and maybe hs Master Jingliu if she made playable.
