I FINALLY MADE A LEGO MONKIE KID ANIMATIC, HOORAY!
As soon as I heard Anna's cover of this song I was like "yup. that's Lady Bone Demon singing to Macaque" and started drawing. Of course, I decided not to do a full on clean animatic, cause god I do not have time for this. I made this animatic in 2 days, because it was itching me. But I like it, it came out pretty nice!
There are songs coming up soon and sadly not many animatics, because I am not able to start anything from scratch right now - I am graduating from school right now.
But I MADE THIS ANIMATIC, HOPE YOU'RE PROUD OF ME AHHAHAHA anyway, have fun watching!

I love how at first, the pacing is LBD Is patiently trying to convince Macaque to submit to her command... But as the song continues she gets more and more restless. I also just love the detailing in how Macaque gets uncomfortable, but then usually covers his face with another one. (Like a: "Okkkkay then.") I have just finished TMK likkkke YESTERDAY and then went binging TMK videos. I gotta say this takes the cake. Great job, this is just beautiful. Some of my favorite parts are how dramatic LBD is at the beginning (The dancing, "Spells Ursula please!") and just EVERYTHING about it! (Also just the neat character shifting, How LBD becomes her true form, the chains and compass, etc. ^^) ANYHOO. This is 10/10. ^^

I really love how this scene can be interpreted as just Macaque replaying the actual scene in his head with his theater flair to justify his later actions of betraying LDB for the second time or him just making the scene more dramatic and flairy on his mind. Either way since i'm fairly new to the LMK fandom i have to say everything of Macaque gives me life ;w; Amazing animation and overall good details ^^

0:57 Spider Queen being the one who “wants to be thinner” and Red Son being the one who “wants to get the girl” is so fitting. I really hope Red Son and Mei end up together. Also, I love how you used Annapantsu’s cover for LBD, and that you showed Macaque thinking her as a joke at first but later gets more uncomfortable near her. Great job!

This is just AMAZING. Oh, how I adore your portrayal of LBD. She is so dominant and powerful, yet playful, even flirty with Macaque. That is till the last moment when she wants to take what's hers. I think you forgot a key defining feature of macaque's character design which is the red marking covering his eyes. Btw i absolutely love this but i couldn't help but notice that
