Animation Test: Samurai (Attitude walk) 

For this excercise I had to come up with an idea for an Attitude walk. I wanted to do a warrior's slow and steady walk so I sketched two variants: The Samurai (he has a long stride, it is always the right foot that leads and the left that follows, his torso is ready to strike and his sword is kept at the same level) The Hoplite (this warrior didn't pass the sketching phase but he had to keep his torso always at the same level, so he had no ups and downs, but differently from the Samurai he had to walk normally. His weapons were a shield and a spear.)
