In my opinion the Evangelion rebuild films are amongst the best timed anime movies. They are perfectly synced whith the soundtrack and the sound effects. They are fast paced but still mantain clarity without raising confusion in the viewer, that is up to the plot.
I think the eva 02 from The End of evangelion is my favourite. It has different proportions than the other iterations, more human-like with a bigger head, it also doesn't have the fins attached to the arms.(I know those are made for locking the eva in place but i never liked them.) In second place i put the Eva mark 9 that has similar proportions, it too has no fins and the moving eye is what makes it stand out more than unit 00.
