On my way to develop animator's friendly cloth simulation fake, I reached second achievement (see the other boring video for the 1st one) - I implement different kind of collision system which keeps the "strands" on the legs during the collisions to prevent the leg go through the cloth. You can set link springs easily for horizontal, vertical and diagonal links to better solve the cloth. It works amazingly well for hair too ;) Stay tuned ;)
It's fair to mentioned that in the scene above, the horizontal springines of the cloth is almost NONE ;) So each strands barely affect the others.
