Let me jump on this bandwagon of praise. Excellent improv of music. And thank you for showing it off on a JDXI. I bought one 4 months ago with a beginner skill level…I am currently in my 3rd month of piano lessons. But I have already laid in 4 sequences playing with it. This synth is severely underutilized at my skill level, but there is so much to this synth, that it is my inspiration to keep learning, keep practicing, and keep creating tracks. I love this synth.
Not long after buying my Yamaha PSR-295 in summer 2004 when I was in a music store and saw a Tyros 1 or 2 on display and a Yamaha brochure from 2005 which I took and for quite a few years I thought maybe I would like to one day upgrade to a Tyros 1 or Tyros 2 thinking these keyboards look very high tech and state of the art but sadly I couldn't afford one at the time. But if I did buy either a Tyros 1 or Tyros 2 back in the day it would still be my current keyboard and I would have no intention of changing it for one of the newer models. But this time last year I planned to get either a black Tyros 4 or a Tyros 5 ( and I very nearly could have ended up with a Tyros 5 or thought I was going to get one ). However in the end I decided a flagship arranger keyboard was not really the right sort of keyboard for me as I don't really use auto acompaniments but I still have auto accompaniments in all my entry level keyboards including the PSR-295 which is honestly not bad for what it is even though I don't use it as much as I used to. I did also consider the Yamaha PSR-SX series keyboards but in the end I knew I was better off sticking with using Halion for midi sequencing as many of it's sounds are based on Yamaha Motif. Hardware isn't always better than software! Another note about Tyros is I think the green led buttons are easier on the eye compared to the blue leds on Tyros 4 and 5. Speaking of Emu Proteus in the early part of last year I bought the Proteus/2 and did also consider the Proteus/1 and Proteus FX but you could say I chose a Roland U-220 instead as I preferred how sounds like the pianos and saxophones sounded on the Roland than the Emu.
Well, a bit after this video, I get PA1XPro and I was really happy with it. Btw Emu ProteusFX was my first real synth/module. I like Roland and Korg sound equaly, but I never really learn to love Yamaha sounds. I was always explaining it to people that when I was playing with Tyros, it sounds like well mastered CD. When I was playing with Korg, it sounded that there's a band behind me and we're having a good time ;)

Unfortunately, I've sold the JD-Xi because I was sure there's JD--Xi2 comming with more tracks - which turned to not be truth ;) But I eversince thinking to buy it back ;) I recently tried MC-101 and Novations Track. It's definitely fun, but I would say I like the minikeys and ease of the knobs and buttons on JD-Xi more. MC-101 engine and 8 tracks with 4 minikeys octaves, and JD-Xi2 will be absolute beast.
@@shyguymuzik9095 It does, but it's something completely different. I had it for a brief period of time. To be honest, I once thought about two JDXis ;)
well, it's 7 year old now. It was udes in women's skirt for KCD DLC. I would say, that these days, You'll have better luck with realtime cloth simulation. What this was custom verlet simulaiton specially build for bones chains that prevent them to slip from knees and heels. It was build so it "stick" to the collision, so I needed only few bones and yet the leg did not penetrate. Animators then go thoguht the animations and correct glitches. It was all writeln in Python as MOtion Builder script
To be honest, I'm using only headphones. I'm a "night person", so I'd wake up whole street. I still need to figue out it as well. I usually test the mixes in my car on my way to work ;)

Hey Jan? I just found your video here for the first time, watched it to check out some of the sounds of this synth, AND WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE SONG YOU CREATED WITHIN MINUTES! Seriously, I really like this song and infact, put together some lead electric guitar to go with it! ( it needs guitar ) : ) I hope you saved that track? I hope you made it into a track to begin with! IT IS GREAT! ( im sure alot of people will also like to have to listen to for themselves! ) You should finish it, and let me help you to do that! : ) I have to questions now. 1- Were you able to create all those sounds on here with this synth RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX? or did you have to get some additional software or accessories first? 2- Are you in or around the east coast of America? Or weather you are or not, would you be interested in talking more with me about possibly playing synth on 3 albums of new 80s melodic/rock music that i am working on rightnow? All of the songs for the 3 albums are already complete you would just have to listen to them and learn the synth parts. No in person rehersals needed! ( although i would need you to be here in New York for the actual live recordings ) But if that just wouldnt be practical for some reason? Then we can figure out another way to record. This is a very underrated groovebox/keyboard. So many great sounds on this and so many killer drum kits plus it's a analog and digital synthesizer! I got one in 2019 and I have to admit I don't use it enough but I will never get rid of it you can easily get one of these for around $500 or a little less and I do recommend it
Can you help me out with the interactive chord feature? the first scale C starts from another key I may have accidently switched the chord C to another Chord, If you can help me please, I dare not go trough factory reset for this...
