Y'know, with Alan being the wholesome dad in modern AvA, it's easy to forget that he was... Kind of a villain in the first three, and arguably for much of the fourth as well. It's truly been the redemption arc of all time.
I mean, he had the right to in the fourth episode. If a stick figure blew up my computer, then I see five of them messing around… I would’ve deleted all of them as well
I want to imagine that within the Beckerverse Lore, Alan in these videos was an immature teenager who thinks that stickmans have no self-awareness and only act. Like GTA NPCs. After AVA3 his attitude is more mature and after his PC was destroyed and TDL's disobedience perhaps he considered that the stickmans he created were thinking creatures with emotions
@@nahomisanchez3not really. He thinks of them as potential risks at that point (between 3 and 4), which is why he panickedly deletes the other stick figures. He only decides to take mercy on orange when orange shows him something he couldn’t do (which was animate). Maybe the message was that the stickfigures up until that point just kept destroying, but he made peace when he discovered that it could also create. My interpretation is that he was a villainous character up till the end, he didn’t care wether or not the stick figure was sad or wether or not it wanted to destroy everything, he was going to destroy it anyway unless it served to benefit him (same reason he kept the chosen one in 2 - 3, because it could block pop-ups).
@@wildfire_ I think he grew to care for them from that point onwards. You might be right he probably spared them for their usefulness at first but throughout the series onwards whether is it AvA, AvM, AvLoL, AvPokemon or Actual shorts, Alan see them more than just business partners, they developed actual friendship by helping each through sad times, casually playing pranks at each other and play fighting.
@@willc_drawsin the showdown when TSC blasted TDL The above commenter is probably saying that TDL might have had his code broken either from his powers or from PTSD after
I'll never forget these stickmen for as long as i live The Chosen One, The Dark Lord and The Second Coming are my whole childhood and seeing them all together fighting made my whole decade.
It's just stickmans, but it made me cry. It all started with such a small thing.. just a stickman destroying a PC. And now each of them has its own character and its own story. It's incredible. Especially the moment with the removal and subsequent return of orange's friends. Just a few seconds, and it knocks out more emotions than some full-length works. Perfect.

FR, AVA 11 is going to be peak, just like all of Alan's other animations, he's uploading this so the newer viewers (who don't know victim) will know who he is :D
damn thanks dude that's quick also guys please ignore and don't reply to any bots in this reply section, i say this cuz there was previously a bot above me thats now thankfully deleted :)
After watching the whole thing, i realized that after all this time, TSC was the only one who could see alan himself, not just the desktop or cursor, as none of the other stick figures he drew looked outside the screen before, and not even red, green, yellow or blue noticed when alan returned from the laundromat, just TSC
@@howtoremoveparentalcontrolsid like to think the new PC gave them a way to see outside the desktop screen, like some new hidden software was built in with it.
1:23 AHA,THATS WHY VICTIM IS STILL ALIVE,HE IS IMMUNE TO DELETION Edit:pay no attention to the bot,but report it for spam and misinformation if you will
Also, unsaved files aren’t actually deleted. Such files are stored as a temporary file (this is why special programs can recover said files.) In this case, the data in the file is victim
17:32 I love that when you pause the video somewhere at this point, one of the messages says "Did you seriously just pause the video so you could read this?". A funny little easter egg if you ask me.
The stick figures in Alan's story actually reflect Alan's emotional world. The events and emotional situations experienced in the first season are shown with war in the second season. Here, TDL represents Alan's cruel side, while TCO represents Alan's mercy. Victim symbolizes Alan's hatred for the mistakes he made and making them again. TSC plays an important role, apart from Alan, as the person who brings the drawings to life and teaches Alan that stick figures have emotions. In the case of Virabo, we see Alan's compassionate and cruel side battle. While Alan tried to wipe out TSC and his gang by acting like a villain in the first season, TDL does the same thing. However, neither side is able to destroy TSC. This actually shows that mercy and evil clash in Alan's inner world. When evil prevails and mercy is about to be lost, TSC intervenes and defeats evil and saves mercy. So mercy is represented as TCO and evil is represented as TDL. As Alan spends time with the stick figures, he begins to understand their feelings and establishes a father-child relationship with them. After seeing the existence of their feelings, she becomes kinder to TCO when he comes around again. The Virabot incident is actually a reference to the events of season one where TSC was created. TDL represents Alan's evil, while TCO represents his compassion. In this war, TSC steps in when mercy loses, stops and defeats evil. This detail explains Alan's character development and internal conflicts in depth. This is crazy man, how did you squeeze this detail in?
something that truly shines since AvA 1 is how Alan always is using the full screen. everywhere you look something is happening. something is always happening off camera. his choice to have minimal to no dialogue requires A LOT of visual storytelling that he’s always had such an acute sense of awareness for ! loved growing up with this series :)
It's really some kind of nostalgia. I remember watching the second episode 8 years ago and being impressed by the animation, it has now really developed into something incredible. Love you Alan and your team
The reason victim is alive is because alan didn’t necessarily press “delete” he simply closed an unsaved program Unsaved files go to the temporary folder This is why victim is alive, he escaped the temporary folders and escaped into the internet
Plus, all the hollow headed stick figures seem to be very hard to delete, like how TheChosenOne and TheSecondComing could resist the deletion of the Virabot
Something else I noticed, TCO doesn't know Alan befriended the other sticks during this time. The virus fight was the first time since his escape that TCO met Alan face to face again. There had to be so many thoughts in that circle head of his when he decided to help Alan and his new stick friends, while setting aside bad history which led to a respectful (if distant) acknowledgement of mutual growth.
23:43 "DONT DELETE ME." "im not gonna delete you you need to clam down" "YOU NEED TO DIE" got me laughing for a sec💀
Alan Becker really changed his life because of this legendary animation series. I can't stop smiling while watching the whole animation because it brings a lot of nostalgic and iconic moments. Starting from Victim, The Chosen One, The Dark Lord, and especially The Second Coming and other stick friends. I'm really thankful that Animator VS. Animation is still loved by many fans including myself and I hope that you continue to inspire more people on creating their own stories. Thank you so much for making this and may God bless you, Alan Becker. 🤧❤
bro orange is savage when it comes to erasing his friends existence, like bro literally destroyed this facebook user's photograph skills at 19:52
1:38 I'm realizing that the weapons the victim uses are the same ones used by the head of the agents in the episode "wanted" so Alan confirms that he is a victim
Nostalgia and amazing as always! And here are some coincidence/reference I found while rewatching this (Kinda late I guess lol): 15:55 is it just me or Green was already the punchbag among them... 21:45 the colour of The Second Coming's power in The Showdown 23:02 the music has the same intro with the one in AVA Ep. 5
Man, I loved this series as a kid. Do you realize you have fans that are well into their 20s that grew up watching Animator v Animation? That original upload is SO iconic, it changed so kuch of RU-vid. It pioneered stick fight animations on RU-vid. Legendary

I remember first time watching alan i was so amazed by his animations it looked all natural and thought it was real so i went to play store and find an animation app and drew the chosen one and thought he would come to life😂😅
i know someone else commented about this but oh my god 21:45 foreshadowed TSC's laser color did anyone else actually notice this?
I always thought the quality jump between 3 and 4 was massive, but I think the jump in quality between 4 and the modern AvA might be larger at this point.
god i remember showing 1 and 2 to my friends and going "this is REAL. you can download the stick figures" it was dope as hell now and it's held up now, and look how far you've come. you and your team should be really proud
After a century of waiting.. we still don’t have the next episode. Thanks for making it though I know it takes a while to make this stuff. But thanks for making this stuff regardless. You are absolutely incredible!
Alanbecker, I have an idea for you. What about making an episode where your PC just has maxed out RAM and the Stickman is glitching a lot and you're trying not to lose him?
It's been so long since I've watched the first three. I now appreciate all the more the references going forward, such as in the way Victim fights TCO later on
i feel like the stick figures cant see depth because the orange stick figure at the start of episode 4 15:53 got scared that blue would hit them despite being on the other side of glass
This makes me want to see Alan battle his animations for fun, using a drawn arena with like various things on the ground for the folks to use against him
