Ran into this video/your channel because of a retweet, this is so informative, thank you! :D Working on my own animation-ish project, a lot of the time I'd have to learn what to do by ear and playing around with it to get the shot to look just like I'd want it to. I'm really glad there's channels like yours that explicitly show you the little compositing details like these to really make the animation look good. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff.

You did a fucking good tutorial video and I loved it. Straight to point for what this video is about by showing the ending effect. Step by step for every simple detail, not missing a bit nor gibberish about it. After thousands of tutorial videos on RU-vid this is impressively good and specific.

If you really want to replicate the look of anime I would recommend drawing with a smaller resolution and upscaling it. It creates the analog rough feeling of the scanned stuff and it’s the industry standard. I can’t remember the exact resolution and dpi that’s used but it isn’t drawn at 4K or even 1080p. I think the exact info is in a striving for animation stream

Honestly, there’s not a lot of animation compositing tutorial on YT ! It would be helpful for a lot of beginners. Btw do you still have some Hitman Reborn fan animation project to do or finish ? Really love your work keep it up !

I think all these things can be done in CSP too? I hope so bc I can't use Adobe programs. I'm trying to do my first short, simple animation in anime style and I can only use CSP. And maybe my phone for final editing (fixing colors bc my huion screen tablet doesn't show them too well).

Wait what? All of this makes so much sense. Thank you for this tutorial :D My animations are alaways way too sharp because they are made in Adobe Animate. Next I want to learn how to make an animation look like it is made in the 80s.
