I'm probably the only person in the world who got depressed with the ending, took days to recover and then started loving it. I hate what they did to the manga ending, it was so forced. And now (spoilers) tatsumi is a DRAGON???? how does bro even do IT with Mine? Speaking of Mine, I hate that character. Probably the worst in the gang.

idk how people found it sad at all tbh. After I saw the pattern that "they're gonna die aren't they", to the point where the deaths were just SO FORCED, I lost the ability to feel sad about it

@@Xtremedave2for me, even though I knew what the pattern was gonna be, I still felt sad for the characters death because I enjoyed watching the characters. I guess one thing that it can be compared to is with an end of a good series because while you know the show is going to end, it can make you sad nonetheless

Madara's weakness isn't tajitsu, he got Sharinga, Susanoo, genjutsu and alot more to combat that shit Madara's weakness was his pride, ego and belief that he was above it all though the Otsusuki one could make sense, if it weren't for the only 2 who could combat them being above mortal level in fighting power in physical ability aswell

Nah, his death is what progressed the plot in showing the gap between even the strongest of slayers and the upper moon. The victories following which was especially felt with Gyutaro’s likely would not have felt the same otherwise.

@chuviis3508 It’s also likely to be a motivator for the “inevitable” Akaza rematch, giving an emotional resonance to the fight. Rengoku’s death showed the meaning of a hashira by falling in service of the up and coming generations, that even good people in the eyes of of them weak, heroes, could fall to the demons. It’s part of what keeps them going, to fight and succeed as the former did before them.

Yes, Gohan doesn't want to fight, but people want him to be strong, he doesn't want to train or fight, people want him to train and fight yet when he does people still get angry at him, he got taken out by Kefla in the Tournament of Power, so he is weak compared to Goku and Vegeta, since obviously Goku could defeat Kefla

In Dragon Ball itself you find this notion of a peaceful, wise warrior echoed by Master Roshi's teachings. They have the perfect opportunity with Gohan to show such a martial artist. They just keep wasting it on the same old routine of him slacking off like he did in the seven year time skip and having to regain his mojo for the battle at hand. And while it's true that he doesn't enjoy battle, he has also never been shown to dislike training and sparring, only actual combat.

Was Naruto a complex character before shippuden? Of course not. Naruto was your typical MC who is just like Jesus and always so motivated and have goal in the beginning

To be fair unlike Goku who grew up with positive aspects of martial arts. Gohan was forced into fighting and into martial arts from the start and unlike Goku who did it for fun Gohan had to do it out of survival. And it also hurts that characters only like him when he loses control and isn’t himself

I'd say kokushibo has at least comparable if not straight up a better backstory tbh It felt tragic yet somehow nothing in it really was, it even felt sadder than akaza's backstory even when it had no right to ever be that way It was a masterpiece, he really had no right to ever be that good

@@HabitualThinker I just forgot that there are no similarities at all because DS is a clear narrative masterpiece of unmatched individuality that took 0 inspiration from anything so it'd never rip a whole ass concept and main character from any other series. JJBA and DS aren't similar because DS straight up ripped off part 1 because part 1 is unpopular and people wouldn't realise. Other series' will at least try to put their own twists on things they take inspiration from

I think the problem is the series would be so fundamentally different from actually like chapter one that there wouldn’t even be comparison. DB’s fundamental writing flaws basically define the entire franchise’s identity and applying primary school level narrative techniques would leave it unrecognisable

Ace could've been something better, but honestly, If he where to survive, i don't think you could take an anime seriously without stakes. Even now-a-days in regards to it, there's close to none since NOBODY IN THIS DAMN SERIES DIES. How could you care about anything when the character with barely any screen time, or that you didn't care at first, is probably the only character that would actually die? For example, on the Wano arc, i think there was only one or two characters that really died, form the at least 5 that was supposed dead, the others Oda just shows or states that they didn't really die with some flawed excuse... If Ace didn't die, ONE PIECE would be much worse and boring

@@lucasfelipe8349 who said characters don't die in newer series, Examples: Aki, Power, from chainsawman fucking died, Nobara and Junpei from Jjk fucking died, Sasha from Aot fucking died, Rengoku fucking died. In short: Characters dying doesn't make any fucking anime or manga great, if you mindlessly kill top tier characters it makes your stupid fucking anime trashhh as fuck. So characters death may be sometimes impactful but characters who are a masterpiece or are yet to be explored don't really need to die. There are other ways of making impactful anime without killing off characters Examples: World Trigger, Bungou Stray Dogs

If Naruto would not have worked hard in an attempt to be recognized and make a change in the world, Kurama would not have accepted him and would not have shared his powers with him. There were other people "blessed" with the power of the nine tails, but Naruto was the first one who actually reached the point where he could use them and that was a result of his own personal struggle. Yeah, the show clearly underlines that some people have advantages over others, just like in the real world and any other show, BUT it also underlines the fact that becoming better will still require an effort no matter how much talent they have and that everyone can still be amazing if they try. Sakura wasn't as strong as Naruto and Sasuke, but without any special talents she became one of the strongest ninja in history. Naruto and Sasuke were blessed with more than the rest, but that doesn't undermine the fact that acually being able to use those powers was a difficult journey. Just as in real life you, Usain Bolt was clearly helped by genetics when he became the fastest man alive, but even with all that potential he would have been nothing without his training. Naruto couldn't control the power of the nine tails through most of the show and it was hurting everyone around, so he reached the point where he purified it, changing the power of the nine tails from a power of anger and hate into one of hope and connection. That was something which Naruto fulfilled after encountering and fighting many different ninja and working hard to try and make things better. Honestly, the complaints that people have of Naruto would also apply to most anime by that logic. One Piece, Bleach, DB, Demon Slayer and so on. But for some reason people seem to have some special standard for Naruto because they misunderstood what the show was trully supposed to focus on.

@@ovidiudantewont bother reading all that, the show has a character that has the lesson "you can achieve anything as long as you work hard", to get side tracked by multiple other characters that had innate powers, them being from bloodline or having the power of the tailet beasts you're being ignorant by saying that's not the lesson when the anime literallys speaks it on your face
