Side characters like Shikamaru's dad and ninjas from Darui to dead ones like Minato were given more depth and continuous impact on the show in a realistic way. You may like the Boruto anime, and I agree it's not all trash, but for you to say their characters are better developed is utter bias and borderline trolling. @Hoodie Melo and this is why trunks needs a stand alone anime on how they beat the threats from the main timeline in his timeline like they beat buu because shin sacrificed himself to beat buu but after that we only realy know about the goku black arc and also the mangas does a muchbetter job with characters and a small bit of the story like how Jiren was more fleshed out, Hit's timeskip explained better and some other minor details

Devil's advocate here... He's a soul. And souls are technically just dead humans. Unless... he was just straight up born a soul. In that case, I got nothing since people born in Soul Society are just... souls lol. They never get the opportunity to be human unless they're killed and become part of the cycle of souls. Except in Aizen's case, he would just be sent straight to Hell if he was killed. Whether that be by the Gotei's ritual or by the Gates of Hell opening up and dragging him into Hell itself which he probably would be considering how many atrocities he committed.
