Phantom Troupe been my favotie group since forever and now knowing their backstory just make it 10 times better

Only things I’m gonna say about DBZ, Yamaha died in the Saiyan Saga along with Tien and Chiaotzu, he did not die in the Cell Saga. Also Future Trunks did not come back to fight Vegeta, he came back to warn Goku about the Androids. When Trunks saw that Goku was not back yet and Frieza was on Earth, he fought and kill Frieza and King Cold, not knowing Goku had Instant Transmission.

Sadly i know Fairy Tail will not make the list. I get it. But man they need more love.

My favorite anime villain group is either Espada(I love that they hate eachother its so great) or the Warlords(not that much of a group but I find the concept and characters that fill its roster as perfect for one piece)

Assassination Classroom is the anime that got me into anime….and I’m glad I started my anime journey

I would've loved to see the Cyberpunks on here. Though short their run, they tore at the heart strings without the need for an incredibly drawn out backstory. It was as if a Jackson Polic painting came alive and swept you off your feet. I know it's not a traditional anime, but it's an incredible story I'd love to see a short video about

pretty sure that Picollo takes command a lot of the times because he is fused with Kami, and therefore has more wisdom about things in general.

This video for the most part rocks socks! I agree with a lot of what you have said and even agree with the honorable mention for the Gotei 13. I am however big disappointed that the Espada/Sternritter did not make this list. One of if not both of those groups def deserve a spot imo! Either way awesome content thank you :D

First of all, really love your content! One of the most interesting and informative anime channels I've ever seen. As for the groups (if it's one per title), I would add Espada or Wandenreich from Bleach and Stardust Crusaders or Passione from JJBA.

Tecnically there are at least 6 members of Team rocket in the Pokemon anime. One of my favorite groups, is Le soldats from the anime Noir. There are actually only 2 main members of this group, but during the anime we see that they have a lot of underlings like the Akatsuki. It's a shame that Noir doesn't really have a big fan base.

True, I got attached to Night raid and cried in the end. To the extent of being afraid to revisit it.

I really appreciate how the FF14 team has managed to incorporate old ideas in new ways to make it feel like the whole experience feel cohesive. Because the reality is that it's unlikely that they had planned much of this a decade ago. But rather, future writers managed to take the foundation laid before them, and build upon it. It always feels more satisfying when something is constructed like this, rather than repeatedly retconned in order to force ideas into place.

Interesting video (if a bit too focused on Shonen for my personal tastes). One interesting thing I’d like to see someone try for anime is what Cinefix did with their Top 10 Movie Teams list, picking the best teams with a certain number of members in ascending order, starting with 2 and finishing with entire armies (my personal favourite two member team in anime: Kei and Yuri in Dirty Pair)

I doubt many people know this anime but I'd also include the Knights of Athena from Saint Seiya solely because I like that they all have their different motivations and sometimes even fight each other

You always get a few things wrong but I still love your videos especially because you pick great topics

Strawhats on number 3 is criminal. Sorry. They’re far more nuanced and have much, much more core story roles than the Akatsuki or the Phantom Troupe. More importantly, each Strawhat has their own awesome backstory, a real dream/goal, and spotlight. Unlike the other two. Even with the godawesome origin story of the Phantom Troupe, I still say the Strawhats are the greatest anime group in history.

In the Dragon Ball Super manga, Gohan is the one who fights Kefla, and manages to get her out of bounds

If I allowed myself, I would 110% include the Seven Divas from Holo-Chronicles. Like... if you didn't watch Holo-Chronicles, _go watch Holo-Chronicles,_ Kugeki (the creator of this awesome Hololive fan series) is like a mini-Tite Kubo with how they handle worldbuilding and character power sets, it's awesome. The Seven Divas are honestly a culmination of everything that's great about Holo-Chronicles. A set of seven powerful and influential talents (individuals with powers, for all the most of you who don't know HC lingo) who work to defend people from monsters and all have their own abilities and backstories. Roboco (an ex-member, to be fair) is quite possibly the most important character to the current overarching story due to her records from the future, Sora is the Gojo equivalent who keeps everyone else from going too off-the-rails, Pekora and Miko (another ex-member) are both lowkey gremlins, Aloe is just _the coolest_ and her disappearance drives a major subplot in either finding or replacing her, and I could probably keep going on and on _and on_ about how great they all are. Also, I'm biased towards cool Hololive stuff, and this is some of the coolest Hololive stuff out there.

Night Raid is so underrated glad they were high on the list

Funeral Parlor from Guilty Crown. Back in the days I loved this anime. Not nessesairly best plot or execution ever, but its pretty good and has some amazing music (I'm a sucker for good music in anime) Household Vessel Users from Magi Labyrinth of Magic. Amazing story that was made dirty by anime being discontinued right before plot was made great. Anyone who liked literally anything about fights or power system in Magi should read manga, as it is solid. I would add those two to my list. Also, not yet an anime, but I literally can't think about this list without mentioning Solo Leveling ^. S Rank Hunters ^ You should read Solo Leveling Manhwa and make a video about it, even if only to introduce it to bigger audience.

Great Video. Perfection 🦥My bias would be FairyTail, it was one of my first anime, it stole my heart. Tho can I really say that when I haven’t read a single chapter of 100 year quest, I’m lying to myself.

I called it. I knew the Akatsuki & Phantom Troupe would make top 2 🤣. Anyway, I loved the Akatsuki because the characters were written with so much depth & you fell in love with every single one of them. Some members were morally grey with good intentions while others were blatantly evil & selfish, yet each member was so impactful with emotional histories.

maybe you should create a second version of this list as there’s a lot more you could include if we’re going by how interesting the backstories of each member of the group or how unique their abilities are.. the upper rank demons in kimetsu no yaiba for example, one of the manga/anime who has well written backstories for their characters specifically the upper rank demons.. there’s also tekkadan from gundam iron blooded orphans.. i would also say the heroes in the hero association in one punch man.. while not all of them have a flesh out stories, they’re actually the characters who adds more color to the manga/anime as a whole.. i mean, let’s be honest, saitama one punching every villain is just that.. but before he does that, we’re actually rooting more first with the heroes who are initially fighting those villains..

i know there alot of groups and all in animes generals but i would probably include the nura clan (from nurarihyon no mago) cuz basicaly the main character is nothing without his clan :P since he get powers from them basicaly
