I really stopped watching anime, Instagram all social activities for 6 months just to complete my course and after that i finally landed on a job then again i started watching anime reading manga...etc. I who don't care about anime fans what they are doing because for me anime is escape. People who watch anime now they think now i am in different world and society owes me something.... Guys like me exist who watch anime just to escape reality and enjoy the story of it. #indotaku😊

I too dislike that the anime is being mainstream. But I am also the guy who would go to a anime events. For me the problem is when the classmates shouts "KAME HAME HA" or "GOMU GOMU" in front of teachers and professors during the lecture, I identify as a weeb, and these people are making me feel like a clown. I don't have the problem with them expressing their love towards their "favorite" anime, but maybe don't do it in class, specially during lecture.

I think the reason we find indian new anime fans cringe cause they have just explored the anime world they might have just watched one or two shows and even in those shows they have just watched some edgy animes like guys common there was a time we all like code geass, tokyo revengers, tokyo Ghoul, etc but then we explored vinland saga, akira, JoJo's bizarre Adventures that's how we grow as a community give them some time they will explore new and mature things like take me as example for 2 whole yrs of my life when I was introduced to anime I was only watching shonen cause I thought there is nothing in isekai, senin, shoujo etc. In the end I think all the people that are now watching anime in india are just teenagers let them evolve and explore

Anime audience really IS cringe in India. Personal opinion plays the role here ig but I feel like they are not mature enough yet. They somehow are able to make Anime as part of their "personality". Cannot understand that it is just a medium of entertainment and not something to be proud and feel superior and look down on people who like other medium of entertainments. Anime watchers are supposed to be "cool" in their eyes.

This is totally disgusting 😡😡 because of these people love and passion we're able to watch our favourite Anime without the hassle of piracy and also getting Anime in our own language. I have huge respect for these guys who participated in these comicons and other events. They represent this whole community love and passion for Anime. Maybe they don't look that much glamorous which we seen in other countries comicon but still it's the passion and love what they actually wants to show not the clothing & it's not a fashion show so stop comparing and respect them for be there in behalf of you.

I agree with you, I noticed that type of people in comment section too and I was too annoyed by them, This people people says hindi dub is cringe without watching how is it actually looks like, I am aware of it that overall quality of hindi is not much good but they are actually talking about Hindi language Dub, I spotted some people talking about black clover dub on what will they translate for the word "Wizard King" and it will be "जादूगर बादशाह" and they find this word "Cringe". Now what will be the best translation for it? The fact isn't that the hindi dub is good or not but they disliked hindi dub cause they are not used to watch Hindi dubs and it feel weird to watch in new language but they tell it cringe. These people don't understand this simple Phychology.

Well, I completely agree with you not only the anime community trolls other fans but also other publishers who try to publish good quality content in india. There are many different comic publishers who publish completely unique and amazing comics with a great art style but due to lack of awareness its hard for them to sustain and these so called elite anime fans always make fun of them, take raj comics for example they are one of the oldest publications of india and for some reason people always say their characters are copied from western comics. But if you look at it then the similarities they show you are so stupid for example. They say nagraj is copied from spider-man because they both swing on ropes ( I use the term vaguely) but if we look at this like this then every single superhero who can fly is a copy of superman and if they have a car they are a copy of batman and if we look at this like it then my hero academia is a copy of X-men but then they will say " No, it is inspired by it and they have changed everything to fit into their culture." But as soon as it is about indian content its straight up copied. But yeah, I would still say that their are some small scale villains and other characters who are way too similar to be called inspired. But over all we have to understand that raj comics is not a single person but a company which is publishing comics since the 80s and during this long time span some copy cat writers and artist could do something like this. I used to read comics as a child but then these people on the internet always called them copied so I shifted to other things like anime and manga from 2018 , but recently I decided to give those comics a read again, and I enjoyed the hell out of them especially doga that character has literally became my favorite his stories are to the point with amazing artwork and they have a really indian feel to them he doesn't fight western problems but his comics are based on indian issues such as corruption, superstitions, dirty politics , casteism etc. Which makes it so much more relatable. I think people should read doga too. You can order his comics online and you can also find audio version of his comics on a RU-vid channel called comic world. I am glad I trusted my gut feeling and gave doga a read I also suggested his comics to my friends and they enjoyed it too.

Another point is Dubbing and Language mocking fight, creator apne hisab se decide kiya hai dubbing karwane ka aur expand karne ka, nahi pasand to mat dekho dubbed version, regular conversation me khud kaun sa japanese use karoge. Source of entertainment and source of discussion completely different thing hai

I am anime fans but I never recommend anime to other people because some people can't deserve good things because they make it cring When i was kid I accidentally watch anime first time and it was hentai anime😂 fir or dekha

I watch a streamer named Insym who plays a lot of Indie horror games and when he played "Kamla" I was watching live on twitch. it was a Good Game with some minor bugs and graphic problem but what I was seeing on chat is that all the Indian was cussing the game but all the foreign viewers and even Insym was appreciating it. and tbh that was a fun game with a good story line and have a lot of Indian Reference in it. We as an Indian like to demean our self or our creators just to look cool on the internet.. that's really sad grow up guys
