My favorite little detail is that bit at 4:20 when he pulls his eyelid down, then has it snap back, bouncing just the tiniest bit. Super fleshy, super believable. Good job to that dude!
5:33 wonjoon lee ...i have watched your clip over and over just to see how beautifully you animated the line "Jane when she shouts " its really amazing ....and end when she jumps and screams 'im getting married ' part is really really entertaining .

A bunch of these were super funny! My favs, the ones that made me laugh the most were; Jonah Sidhom's (I'm sure the scissors will save you!), James Kachelries', Cesar Tafoya's (ROFLMAO!!), James Kim's, Xin Zhao's, Max Schneider's (Batman's voice..*snicker* *snort*), Daniel Jervis' (LOL), Jon Paul Brower's (the beginning of a lifelong relationship right there), Wonjoon Lee's, and James Kim! That is a lot but they were all so good! Nice work!
i have a question, what is the average "level" of new students in this school? like are they complete amateurs and they get this good at the end of the course or do they already know a few things about animation like animation principles, how to use the graph editor in maya, etc... just what level do i have to be to start a course like this?
It's a mix. Some start out completely new to animation, and AnimSchool even offers an intro to Maya course for those who aren't familiar with the basics like graph editor yet. That class is taken before starting the animation courses. Others already have some experience with animation prior to beginning. AnimSchool makes available recordings from every lecture ever given at the school though, so I think if you start out completely new to animation and work hard and take advantage of all the material they have, you could definitely get to a level like you see in the showcase.
I believe these students have been learning in animschool for a couple of semesters, you see for a good school advertisement they showcase their best students so not all their students end up this good.
I know the focus is supposed to be on the animation.. and the animation on all these are on point. but this beat!!! I need this track in my life.. Can I get a song title?

It's called "student", but I'm seeing about two different styles, that can mean only two things: A) the teacher's style is included with the student's style, and B) the teacher's style is using a far more detailed maya program.
These all look outstanding... but why do they all use the same-ish character models/ styles? is that just how this school works. It looks great but it's kind of hard to notice any individuality in them...
those are the rigs made and provided by the school. they are high quality rigs made according to the industry standards. Its only available to the students except for some they give to the public for personal use. I wish I could use them all...
I haven't been following iAnimate much but for what it's worth the quality of the animation being shown in the AnimSchool student reels consistently outshines Animation Mentor in my opinion. If I had the money and time to take a class it would be with AnimSchool, no question.
CloudyMindMusic For me, it takes about half a minute to rig one frame of animation, and then it takes a full minute to render it. So to rig and render 15 seconds for me is 1350 seconds or 22 Minutes. Then I need to add how much time it takes to SET UP the rig for the ACTUAL model and to create everything for the scene. This can take up to 2 hours sometimes for me alone. So for me it takes two and a half hours to create a 15 second piece of animation. And all of my animations are extremely simplistic, as I am by no means a professional. So for someone else creating an animation, they might have a much more strenuous rigging process, models, and rendering times. So as a result, it would probable take someone on a professional level around 5-10 hours to make something 15 seconds long.
