I'm Irish and I just love the way she speaks about our country. I had no idea she spent such a significant part of her life here. I remember leaving out little trinkets for the fairies too, and hearing the stories of the Banshees and the little people. I wonder if she has any memory of the Irish language? It's taught to all Irish children so I imagine she might still remember the basics ("Dia dhuit", má tá tú ag léamh an trácht seo, Anjelica!) She's right when she says Ireland isn't "all that extraordinary". We're really quite normal and boring if you've lived here for long enough! Thanks so much for uploading this. Loved her as Morticia, and later as Agnes Browne. Outstanding actress and criminally underrated by today's standards.
Ive always wondered how she has an American accent since she grew up in Ireland and England, I listened to her on the David Frost show in 1969 and her accent sounded a little bit English then..... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FFmflhhP-50.html 12.42 - 13.21
