Yes it would lower the wattage based on what the phone requires.

How does the heat compare when using both on 65w full load? Is the ganprime cooler to touch?

Yes though it isn't a major change, another thing to consider is that Ganprime has a larger surface area by a little bit

I am conflcted... I have a laptop charger that IS USB C.. works fine, but I want more portability.. but IF I get this, I will also need long USB C cable, and Long Wall Socket Extension to give me the distance I need.. ugh...

So I'm going to assume your needed distance is over 10ft, the 615 will give you 3ft as it is a power strip and then you can get a 10ft cable from Anker. No need for a power brick as they have internal converters,

If GaN is so great at space efficiency, why is the non-GaN version the same size and power output? Maybe we need to wait for an enclosure revision to fully take advantage.

not really sure, something about when more than one thing is pluged in it switches power faster to the other port when one port is needing less like when your phone is fully charged the laptop port will get more power but not really sure

waste heat, size and actual output is the same, but more goes into the non GaN as input, which doesn't all go to the output, and is lost as waste heat

I think the two are just way too similar and it’s not worth the higher price of the Gan Prime. For someone looking to buy the Gan Prime, it’s best to go with the 120w instead of the 60w.

Back once more the 100w is better than the 120w or go to the 150w if you need more power the 120w is too long and loose when plugged in horizontally

I mean your phone wouldn't let it overcharge even if it were to malfunction which is remarkably rare, yes you can charge it overnight. But if you are only going to charge a phone with it then get the Anker 511 30w

Also just get the Ganprime if you are stuck on wanting the 65w as it is equal in price but superior. One thing to note though is that no company wishes to make a perfect 65w charger, they all have no power factor correction which is a way to reduce energy used on a grid and for that the 120w is superior

Xiaomi using proprietary tech/standar for 33/67/120w quick charge, you can only charge using Xiaomi only charger. Other charger only do around 15-20w charge.

Technically, neither of the two power adapters is good or worth buying, they do not have power factor correction and have more than 100% THD from 10% power, they are expensive for the quality of energy they produce and deliver, but with low quality and efficiency, the bigger100W adapters are more expensive, but they deliver quality and safe power, I wouldn't buy either one.

Ankers chargers doesnt have the Ultra Fast Charging 2.0 certification for the Galaxy S22&S23 Ultra, but they have the Ultra Fast Charging 1.0 (the difference between them is probably maximum 5 minutes), I have an Anker Nano II 65W (i bought the 65W version to also be able to charge my laptop) and it charges my S22 Ultra from 15%-100% in about 1 hour and 5 minutes.
