Hey Todd! Great review as always. I just pulled the trigger on this beast and hope Anker takes your suggestions seriously, and responds quickly. Hopefully some of the issues can be remedied with a firmware update. The cable is a stupid mistake on their part. Not sure how that even made it past QC! Otherwise, a super nice unit. I too have other Anker products and have been very happy with the quality and CS support. Looking forward to using this gem! 😎

I've seen other people also comment on the fact "you can charge from ac or solar but not at the same time", but how's that an issue. If you have access to fast ac charging why would you even need solar at the same time. You can have both connected, but the Anker knows when ac mains is plugged in and switched on an prioritises that BETTER input. Makes complete sense to me.
Great review, thorough, included cons, and nice comparisons to other competition. To me the things that makes this worth the extra money are the fast charging with no brick, great case with wheels/handle, high overall capacity/output, GaN technology, and 30 amp RV connector. The main con for me is not being able to charge with AC and solar simultaneously and higher cost than competition. I got it when it was released with a wait list discount of $400, so that helped.
I agree that at the moment they can get away with charging a bit more because there's a bit of a gap in Ecoflow (not LFP) and Bluetti's (lackluster charger and support) product lines so if you want a name brand that's super quiet and modern, it's a good choice despite the price. Seems that it will have to eventually drop in price once Ecoflow comes out with a re-vamped Delta Max. I'm still very impressed with how quiet this unit is, GaN is a killer feature
Todd, Great review, your usual high level video, great pacing and comprehensive assessment! I have two EcoFlow Delta 2s, purchased because each is less than 30# and for my case use, I can use a propane generator (ALP) to charge one outside while the other is working in the basement via a transfer switch; the weight also makes them easy to take camping. So, I can’t see getting another unit at this time. However, the UPS feature, high wattage output and silent operation are major selling points for this Anker.
these seem awesome. all i think should be added to most these types of products is a shorter interval switch over. so you can use them as like pc battery backups. that would be awesome
I think it's important to be able to charge for free off the sun if the solar is plugged in and use AC as a backup to run when the sun goes down. This lack of feature made me return mine.
Even a basic van build (fridge, rooftop fan, lights, diesel heater) can require more DC ports than a power station has. The PowerHouse doesn't have a 25 or 30A DC port, like the GoalZero 1500X or Bluetti AC200 (or the significantly more expensive EcoFlow Delta Pro). These high amperage ports simplify a van's electrical system by allowing permanent installation of wiring using a busbar that then connects to a removable power station. This is much easier than assembling all the components from scratch.

The pecron e2000 lfp should of been on the comparison list. There is great videos on it and it's substantially cheaper with some good support. Plus it can expand to 8 kh with independent use for the expansion batteries. Pecron is undercutting competition with a damn good product. But I do like this Anker
Yeah, I debated including the Pecron because it's a good budget option but I don't have personal experience with them and the external power brick (ahem, Bluetti), lack of app, etc. made it bit harder to compare with the market leaders.
great review! i have lots of anker wall chargers and small portable batteries and have been very happy with everything anker makes so far. no issues. there are about 8% of "ONE" star reviews on amazon and the most common thing i hear is that their customer support is not good. i gather that anker has left many of the buyers high and dry with no response for many. im leaning toward the anker regardless but just wondering when you say their customer support is good have you actually had to deal with them with issues on this larger and more expensive power station? thanks again for the review!
The sequential charging and discharging of the main/extra battery is a bit of a disaster for two reasons. Firstly it's going to maintain the main battery at 100% charge for extended periods of time, which will certainly shorten its life. Secondly, when pulling a large current (say 2000W for an air fryer), all of that load is going to be carried by one battery creating large amounts of heat through rapid discharge and again shortening the life of the battery. The same applies when fast charging. Ideally you want large currents (either loads or charging) to be shared across both batteries to reduce stress. This 'feature' alone disqualifies this unit from my consideration.
I guess I could have given that a mention but I consider Jackery and Goal Zero a very distant 4th and 5th place because they still use NCM batteries, aren’t expandable, have slower chargers and solar. Not even on my radar anymore

Glad it was useful! I used to be a fan of Goal Zero but their products haven't been substantially updated since 2017(!) so they are miles behind - dangerous NCM batteries with short lifespans, super slow wall chargers with loud power bricks, no lithium expansion batteries, poor solar input, etc. so I don't even consider them as a top tier brand anymore. They are similar to Jackery - good branding and marketing but very overpriced for what they are and not really best-in-class.
@@todd.parker I have 2 EcoFlow delta pros and I’m now on my 3rd goal zero 3000x (sent the other two back due to issues) and my warranty is about to expire. Goal zero is all those things and not that reliable long term.
Was GUTTED to hear the 760 battery can NOT be charged separately, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Anker, make a separate smart charger for the 760 battery so it can be charged independently, It would be SUCH a game changer
like mine so far but it can be kind of quirky on the readout info. For instance, with mine, I can plug in a small wattage lamp and see no output. I can then plug in a 50w fan and it jumps to 55w or so. Then I can unplug the lamp and it drops just a few watts. So, it will sometimes not read small loads.

I noticed something strange, in similar product reviews, while the 767 version sold in Europe can be charged with 2200w hours, the inverter output is a maximum of 2300w hours. In the 767 version sold for the USA, the maximum charging rate is limited to 1400w hours and the inverter output is 2400w hours. I could not understand the reason for this difference. Are you aware of this situation?
I can't contacted Anker after hearing about the other parallel connections being a potential shock harzard if not in use, and they told me that's not the case, which obviously is misleading based on your tests. I hope they find a solution for this issue, otherwise I really like the unit.
I heard from their engineers that technically 60v isn’t supposed to be dangerous according to some spec but I think we all know that any amount of shock hazard isn’t ok. I made that point very clearly to them. Guessing that’s what they told you? In any case, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the 767 if it meets your needs. If you’re planning on using their higher voltage panels, you can use that connector just fine if you covere up the ports you don’t need to use with electrical tape or hot glue if you know you’ll never need those other ports :)

I love Anker and wish they were founded in America just to say I'm proud of Made in America! Crazy how this brand is Chinese but the quality is as good as a Japanese Sony products.
Good question. The main thing you're trying to do is stay safely below the 60v limit but you can exceed 20A total on specs. If you don't need portable, the best deal would be used residential panels. They run around $100-150 and are usually 300-400w (40V/10A) so 2-3 in parallel would do the trick. For portable panels. I still like XTAR because they are rugged and output over their rating but they only have 8mm outputs so you may need some adapters depending on how you wire them. Most panels use MC4 connectors which are waterproof and easy to connect panels in series (XT60 aren't really waterproof long term) so that's where I prefer to work for wiring panels together. For parallel, you'd need to buy a MC4 parallel connector like this for how many panels you're combining (amzn.to/3mBtnwo). The Anker panels are honestly pretty amazing for their size and have the best kickstands. If you wanted to avoid their parallel connector, you could get XT60 to MC cables and wire it up from there.

I will buy this device based on whether it is compatible with the ecoflow 400w portable solar panel. Can I buy x2 400w = 800w with its own adapter? Anker seems to have limited the open circuit voltage to keep marketing on its side and resorted to this method to sell its own panels. It is really difficult to buy 5 panels and endure this crowd. I'm looking for a more practical solution. Maximum 2 panels? Is there any restriction on the Anker power station drawing 2400w power while simultaneously charging it with 1400w? Does it really work much quieter than ecoflow devices? While it draws an average of 1000w power, does the fan noise bother you when it is next to you? It is important for me when purchasing it. My current device is ctechi 1500w, it is very noisy, I want to upgrade, but I am stuck between ecoflow and 767. Should I wait for f2600 or should I buy 767 or delta 2 max? I want one of these for an office shed, but the solar panel input seems like it was designed for portable only. Large 350 watt plus panels make either too many volts in series, or too many amps in parallel. So you’re stuck with small panels. EcoFlows Delta Pro is more flexible
This is more of a Delta Max competitor but I agree the solar input is tricky. I have 330w residential panels and can connect 2 in parallel (40v 20A) but that won’t max out the input. Great unit but the Pro is better (and way more money)
@@todd.parker ahhh so you would pick the EF Delta Pro over this? I liked it because I can haul 2kw for travel or keep it 4kw home back up. I was all set to build a big solar setup with a Growatt AIO inverter, 1200 watts solar, and 5kw server rack battery until I found out the Growatt sounds like a mini jet engine. I'll be powering a mini split and computer. Thanks for the noise test at 1500watts!
@@TobyCostaRica well, the Delta Pro is on a different level than the 767 or Delta Max so it’s like apples to oranges. If you need the extra power and expandability, it’s great but the 767 will be smaller, quieter, and less expensive
@@todd.parker For sure, price point is pretty close with the extra battery. The Delta Pro is also pretty “old” as far as EcoFlows line up. I just wanted 3kw+ and a 30A plug for my home transfer switch. Is the Delta Pro quieter with 1500-2000watt load?

Great video, I've been testing the AC200MAX and the Anker 767 side by side for a couple weeks now. I'm having an issue solar charging the Anker. I'm using 2 URE 365 watt residential panels wired in parallel but I only get around 405 watts out of them. The same two panels generate wired in series generate 620 watts with the Bluetti. The VOC of these panels is 40.7V but measured 37V VOC at the MC4 connections. I measured the VMP at the paralllel connector and got 33.5V. All of these voltages are above the 32V threshold to draw 20amps but I feel like it's stuck in the "10amp mode". There is no option to select the 10amp vs 20amp mode so I'm not sure how the unit decides. I've emailed Anker and am waiting for a response. In the mean time, I'm gonna test a pair of 480watt bifacial panels with a higher VOC to see if it pushes the unit into "20 amp mode". This unit looks like it's gonna be difficult to overpanel or even reach the 1000watt max solar input with residential panels. Have you had any luck achieving higher solar input with any residential panels???
That’s strange. I only tested their 48v panels any a flexible 100w 12v panel. I’d suggest calling them. They picked tight up and we’re very knowledgeable. Dies seems like it should work
@@adziuba12 For reference, I could pull 400 off a single one of those panels so it was definitely stuck in "10amp mode" even though the working voltage was higher than 32v. I've been testing a pair of 480watt Qcell bifacial panels for the last couple days and the results are better but still not great. They have averaged 750ish and peaked at 800 watts. I played with the angles and even tried some reflectors to enhance the bifacial gain but no luck. I'm gonna post a video in a few days after I get some additional results.
Looks like the Zendure Portable Power Station SuperBase Pro 2000 is a closer match to the Anker PowerHouse 767, but is still not expandable (though you could buy two of them for about what the 767+760 costs. Either way would seem to make a great standby solution that can be recharged (quickly and occasionally) with a generator that doesn't need to run all the time... One other question -- you measured the 120V voltage output of the Anker but did you check to see if the output is wired correctly? I saw a few reviews that showed that the hot and neutral pins were reversed which could be a big problem if someone was trying to use a generator bonding plug. Thanks!
@@todd.parker I'm not sure but there are (at least) two reviews on Amazon where people confirmed the hot and neutral were wired wrong on the Anker front-panel outlets. I suspect it could be a lot more but most people probably don't check. Of course, you have to measure voltage between each leg and ground, not just the hot and neutral (since it won't matter which is which in that case). In any case the Anker 767 looks like a really nice unit (as does the Zendure -- would be great to see a review of that as well). Looks like both can be used as an online UPS, and recharged relatively quickly from solar and/or generator. Great way to keep from losing food in the fridge in a power failure.

All you guy’s reviews of these units are all good fun but when you’re spending thousands THE MOST important thing is customer service. My Bluetti just went out of warranty and quit working. After a month and dozens of emails with Bluetti it seems that getting an out of warranty unit repaired seems to be impossible. I sent an inquiry to Anker about repairs after the warranty expires and judging from the auto reply their language seems identical. I hope not but it would be helpful if some of you reviewers would put down the multimeters and review the the companies. I made the mistake of buying a Bluetti based on a enthusiast review and now I have a boat anchor.
Support is very important, I 100% agree. That’s why I cover it in all my videos (and ding Bluetti on it constantly). When I consider reviewing a new brand like Anker, I call and email support with a problem to test how responsive they are and if they can resolve things before I even agree to a review. In my experience, Anker answered the call right away, I spoke to a knowledgeable person from the US and they answered my questions. Post warranty support isn’t something I’ve been testing but will add it to the list.
Would like to know how this setup would be mobile detailing out of an electric vehicle while using solar panels while stopped at a customers house powering the power washer, vacuum, air compressor and charging Milwaukee batteries for drills and such

great review Todd.....I have been debating on the 200w panels because I have a jackery 200w panel and would have to get all kinds of adapters......if these panels are truly capable of near panel rating, I may just get the bundle.....I camp and want internet power when we have power outages in SoCal.....do you have any comparison data or personal opinion on the Jackery 200w vs Anker 200w panel? I would really appreciate any help and your opinion/suggestion considering using the Anker 767...thank you I advance for any help...
I don't have any Jackery products (don't think they are worth it) but I saw Hobotech test some of their panels and they performed quite poorly compared to the Anker panels. If you can afford it, the bundle would be the way to go

If it’s close or cheaper, definitely get a second unit. The only advantage of the battery is extended runtime vs. needing to swap units when one gets low but that’s minor
Some support up to 150v or more but I agree it would be good if they upped the voltage support. I just bought a bunch of residential panels and it’s tricky to wire them within the limits
Anker wants to make it challenging to use other brands’ solar panels to get the full 1,000 watt solar input so that people will buy 5 Anker solar panels to maximize the solar charging of the unit and Anker can maximize their profits.
Thanks for a great & comprehensive review... One question I'm not totally clear on - Does the expansion battery double the output wattage or just extend the time available for the output limit of the 767 itself? If it does actually increase the output, does that show on the 767 display?
A lot of people get confused about that. Think of it as doubling your gas tank. It doesn't make the engine more powerful, it just can run for longer. When connected, it will take both batteries into account to calculate the battery percentage displayed. Interestingly, it doesn't draw both batteries down equally, it pulls from the extra battery until it's dead then starts dipping into the internal battery.
@@todd.parker Thank you! That makes plenty of sense actually... I just saw the "4096" and got excited without paying enough attention to the "hours" portion of that rating vs. output. I have an inverter generator that I can use to charge the base unit back up pretty quickly if needed so that might work almost as well. The bundle savings is pretty tempting when you get the expansion battery though! Again, thanks for such a thorough review. :)
Great, thorough review. Forgive me if I missed it, but when you are charging the battery via solar, AC or DC or using it as an UPS, can you limit the charging to a certain level, say, 80% capacity? Does the app let you do that?
You can limit the charging wattage but not the capacity to which it charges. I set mine to 200w (the lowest) and use a smart plug when I need to pull from the grid. I try to use 100% solar when I can. I still can't find a good way to monitor my DC energy into the 767 though. Once I get that set, I can have the smart plugs turn on and off when the battery gets to 20% and 80% through Home Assistant.
The UGREEN PowerRoam 2200 is a bit better since it has high power DC output. The Delta 2 has dual inputs so you can connect to rooftop solar and the car's cigarette plug so you can dual charge. Pick which is more important to you :)
Anker used to be the best...until they went retail store. Prices went way up, quality way down. I used Anker way back before they went gucci. I stopped after I had to return a few power banks that were not performing to spec and price. Go with EcoFlo or do what I did. By a 5200wh battery from Signature Solar, get a hybrid inverter and you are in business.
Rolling your own is definitely an option but this is very slick, compact, and doesn't require any know-how. I agree that Ecoflow is also great (the Delta Max needs a LFP update) but this is actually much quieter than their recent products, has great efficiency, and low standby power losses so it's hassle free. Curious about your bad experiences, I have a ton of Anker stuff and it's been very reliable. One thing I'll say is they actually answer the phone if you call support, maybe give that a go?
@@LiquidTurbo Agree when needing to transport via vehicle, that is why I have 1500wh and 700wh EcoFlow and Bluetti self contained units. My primary concern is my home. I built my power systems using a 4-wheeled cart (5200wh), and 2 hand-trucks (5200wh and 2400wh). I can push them around with one hand. Getting them in a vehicle would require disassembly, which is not difficult at all. I keep tools need to completely breakdown the systems with the units themselves. Two wrenches and a screwdriver! My next project is a DIY hand portable unit. The DIY can be maintained, upgraded by the user. With my MPPT/Hybrid units and those using separate inverters, I can charge any battery/chemistry should the batteries go bad. I am planning on making a 2400wh unit. Weight is manageable and I will use the Harbor Freight Bauer stackable tool chest with wheels. Wheeled unit will house battery/batteries, stacked units will be inverter/MPPT, and storage.
@@todd.parker Anker support was and may still be top-notch. I never had a complaint there. The price and quality diverged in a bad way. Self-contained units are better for all those who do not feel safe building their own. I love the retail units, slick and sleek, no muss, no fuss. I just like the versatility and cost of the roll-your-own variety. The price to power ratio seems a little high for this unit, but not completely out of line. I would give these another year to mature and for bugs to be worked out.
We’ve seen EV owners hook up inverters to their 12v’s and power small loads like the Anker 767 will do. My question is since the 767 has the inverter built in, could one theoretically use the solar DC input for the 767 as a way to recharge from an EV’s 12v? In other words, power goes out, use the 767 initially and if the outage persists, then hook it up to your EV to extend run time during the outage. Thoughts?
Yep, that would work fine though it would only trickle charge the 767 at around 100w since the cigarette style plugs will overheat with more power so they are current limited to 8A on power stations. If your EV has a higher voltage DC output, that would push more juice in. Or, if it has an inverter, you could charge from AC and just take a hit on conversion losses.
I bought one with my own money and it was a total failure going to wait on Anker customer service to get back with me on fixing the problem . when I plug in my solar panels it makes a clicking sound and doesn't work unless I use my AC plug to charge it.
That's a bummer. So you called their support and they haven't resolved it? I called their support and they answered right away and were surprisingly knowledgeable but I didn't need to get a product replaced. I'd give them another call, they should definitely replace a defective unit like that.
Got to a point where I have a question.... The extra battery.. It drains the extra batter first down to zero... With this kinda of battery, does that not hurt and destroy it over time? Just wondering. Maybe down to 20 or so? Also, I got this and plugged it into the wall and it blew my 15amp breaker... So, YES, you have to get the APP installed and lower that into something your house can handle... And the App allows China to shut you off in the future if they want... (Tin hat on)....
It will degrade the extra battery over time, yes but I'd rather sacrifice that battery and keep the internal battery fresher. It's odd it tripped your breaker because it doesn't pull more than 15a but maybe you had other things running on that breaker.
Can you recharge a power supply by plugging it into another power supply? Can you recharge an Anker 767 by plugging it into an Anker 767 (not needing solar panels)? Or recharge by plugging into a power supply from a different company, like Zendure?
As long as the voltage is within range you can connect any kind of power supply or random battery and it will assume it’s a solar panel and charge but you really can’t connect two 767s together except via the 100w cigarette cable

Great reviews. Newbie question here...I have a NON Anker solar panel to connect to the 767. What specific adapter did you use to connect the panel to the XT-60 input? Where did you get it? Also, does the UPS feature really shut off after 10 hours with little to no draw? My sump pump is not going to like that!
You can pick up a MC4 to XT60 adapter on Amazon - they are the same cables Ecoflow and Bluetti use. I wish they included one instead of the parallel connector. Not sure about the UPS - it should stay on indefinitely in that mode
Todd it seems like using two EcoFlow 400 watt portable panels in series would exceed the 60 volt limit on this unit, but would they work if wired in parallel to charge this unit, or might that exceed the amp limits of the Anker 767?
You can exceed the amps, no problem so parallel would work fine and would max out the power input for longer in the day. Just don’t exceed the max voltage
Why don't any of these u its offer amp hour equivalency information or markings ? Like you see on lifpo4 batteries 50ah or 100ah just wondering seems pretty important
I think because watt hours are easier to compare across models many of these are ~48v batteries so if you didn’t take that into account, it would be tricky to compare. I think wH is easier too, no need for conversions!
I don't trust that no dc loss. I think Anker and ecoflow might be cheating. We would have to let it sit and then do another capacity test. At least that's where my brain goes.
I don’t think they’re cheating per se but my guess is they have circuitry to detect if something is plugged in and, if not, don’t actually turn in the DC regulation hardware. So if you turn DC on, it’s “ready” but really just the LED indicator that’s powered on. I think that’s smart, wish they did that for AC too so you don’t need to babysit the ports
All these brands kind of look the same. I’ll say that Anker is at least trying to add some unique visual details like the blue grills and silver accents instead of just pumping out grey boxes but it’s all small differences
I need battery which will keep my big upright freezer going when the grid goes down. I'm worried it will take more power when the condenser comes on what Anker can produce. I also want an extra battery so I can charge it separately (hope) while the other batter is keeping the freezer cold. Am I looking at the wrong product or wrong size. It is not my home so I can't put in a whole home off grid system for lights and other appliances. I only cook off of a single induction plate. any suggestions?
It will work fine with one panel as long as you get a 8mm to XT60 adapter. If you have multiple panels, you might want to get a 8mm to MC4 adapter to wire 2 in series. When will you reviewers get the message. Stop building a watch and tell me what time it is. I want to know if this (battery) will power a window air conditioner for 24/7 with solar assist. And if so break that down. What kind of panels etc.
Yep, the cable is really short so it only really can sit on top. It's pretty stable there (I even carefully wheeled it around with it sitting there) but it's not attached in any way
Good question, I’m seeing the same thing. I just reached out to Anker and will follow up here when they reply. Someone commented yesterday that they called Anker and they applied the extra 5% over the phone so you can give that a try too.

Heh. That's the eternal question. Every year I think "Goal Zero has gotta roll out some modern products any day now" and nothing ever happens. They are pretty much selling the same stuff they were in 2017, it's wild. They were first wave. Ecoflow and Bluetti were second wave. And now established players in adjacent markets like Anker are 3rd wave. And GZ is still selling the same reheated leftovers.
@Todd Parker yep, ots so frustrating as I'm heavily bought into their eco system. 1500x with four Ranger 300s, tons of lights and accessories. I am tied into my electrical box for 4 circuits, but need way more back up batteries and im not buying their lead acid ones. Its 2023.
@@stinkykd1 Yeah, I have quite a few GZ things too, including a pair of home integration kits though those work with any power station or generator so at least it's not proprietary. I just don't understand how you can have such a big lead in the market then...nothing. Those Rangers look like a cool design - nice mix of a folding panel and a glass panel design. I did a few videos exploring how to loosely couple a Yeti with a LFP battery for more storage. It requires more babysitting than a true expansion battery but there's no way I'd buy a link/tank.
@Todd Parker your original home integration videos are why i bought mine. I also watched your back up hack. It made sense. I just keep telling myself that they will launch a new link that will plug into my 1500x that will run a newly launched lithium phosphate back up battery. Fingers crossed.
You could power it via the 120v plugs but it can’t do 240v level 2 charging. The thing to keep in mind is this is only 4kwh with the extra battery and a Tesla battery is 80-100kwh so this would only add a few miles of range
The cable for connecting the external battery is the deal breaker. Why would they make such a stupid design choice. All the ports on the front and the back can't be pushed against a wall? why make the footprint so much larger?
All the other companies like Ecoflow and Bluetti have similar cables but they’re even longer and stick out the side. At least this is around back but why can’t they use 90 degree connections?
@@todd.parker Yes, Its too bad there is no 90 degree cable. But if the unit is designed to sit on top, why not conceal the connection as you set it in place, the cable won't be in the way for anybody. Just my thought.
the worst generator you can buy, no idea why you would recommend it. This anker is full of bugs and issues and to this day anker is still trying to address them and each time they do, they create additional ones. Ever tested how much their inverter alone draws? 32.7 watts! Have you tried charging this with the extra battery pack while plugged into ac and solar and listen to the squeal it gives when switching from ac to solar charging back n forth because it cannot dual charge? Have you looked at the non waterproof, non insulated open proprietary solar connectors that are a health hazard? Sorry, this review seems bias.
Seems you had a bad experience but I've been very impressed with this unit, though I agree dual charging would be nice. I measured AC standby losses at around 1% or 20w, not 32w but maybe you used a different method. I agree the choice of XT60 for the solar parallel cable isn't isn't a good idea and I covered that in detail but using XT60 for the actual solar input is the standard Ecoflow + Bluetti use.
@@todd.parker well you obviously haven't tested it to know the ups functions are useless. If you haven't updated the app to version 1.7 something, then go ahead and plug in a wifi router that uses an adapter, first you will notice it does not display the wattage because it cannot for anything using less than 15 watts. Then pull the wall ac power cord off and watch it autoshut off at 80%! This is a well known issue by anker and only last week, after months of complaining, did they fix it, however, they then messed it up and now it will shut off within 10 hours even if power is still on! Test the unit is all the manners it advertises itself to do before posting your review. You would have shipped it back instead. Go do the test of what I described and then report back here so people know better. A jackery way out peforms this but for $997 a no name multi branded, one called FFpower and 20 pounds lighter from amazon has blown them all away. The price cant be beat and all the features of a jackery. I tested the inverter by opening the box and a direct connect. Anker claims its inverter uses 30 watts.
How's that? It's packed with detailed test data, pros/cons, and comparisons to other popular products. Just because it may look nice, doesn't mean it's a commercial (tho I was provided a review unit for free which is typical of all reviews)
I would agree with the commercial, except it has a solid list of cons, so I don’t think that’s a fair statement. Good review overall and less biased than I typically see for these products.
@@christopherwhyte2360 Thanks. I'm curious about the commercial part. What makes it feel that way? Maybe it looks too...polished (shot on an iPhone)? I do go out of my way to point out every flaw, and give people the buying advice I'd give to a friend, even if I get the products for free. Not getting defensive, just curious about your opinion!
@@todd.parker I think people are just used to watching product videos that appear to be a commercial, and I’m sure the polished video adds a little of that flavor, but the cons list and comparison was fantastic and completely eliminated any commercial vibe. I researched this product heavily before buying, before your video, and this video is spot on.
