Well, hat off ! The most well made comparisson between these two nice BT speakers on YT, no question about it. Bravo ! Well chosen style music and smart choice not to name them by genuine name. Tremendous job indeed !
I own both! Soundbox XL has deeper bass, but Motion+ is not that far away and is much more portable (half the size). If I should pick only one of them it would be the Anker...
Augusto Heckmann I agree with you on that, sorry for misunderstanding. Anker is louder than Doss in my oppinion, but I do like hi-fi like sound and for it, Doss was a clear choice, more natural. Anker is also good, but its sound it's very precise and acurate...too engineered. Mostly I listen with 30-50% volume, Doss it's like an old CD Boombox, classic pop/ dance/slow music sound. I do not regret my purchase (around 70$ shipping included)
I have recognized the Anker at the 1st note: boxy and with harsh highs. The Doss XL sounds more natural, with a flat response over the entire frequency spectrum. More hifi. Unfortunately is not very portable, with its 3.46 pounds and 12 inches in lenght it's more a home speaker, but sound performances and small dimensions do not mix.
Is there any noticeable sound lag (latency?) watching movies on RU-vid and Netflix with the Anker? My Soundcore Flare had a lot of lag bit my Flip 4 didn't and was great. I'm scared to buy the Motion + if I can't watch movies with it. Please help!
So after spending 20 minutes listening I really could not tell much difference. I was in the process of buying one or the other but now Im so confused. I like the looks of the Doss
I have both. The Doss has deeper more rounded bass. Sound is more natural. If you're listening at home mainly. Get the Doss. If you want portability then get the sound core
Thanks man. Yeah the treble was a bit much on the anker. It sounded much better to my ears when I was listening in person. It was clipping the mic on most of the songs.
I bought one of DOSS XL (VERSION 1.1) but I was disappointed, it feels more mids-high and high than bass, and the bass is not so deep compared to the Tribit Maxsound... quite different from the video of "oluv's gadgets", which was able to perceive the vibration of even 10 hz ... I am inquiring with the company if the frequency response has been changed in this new version v1.1 ... the Stormbox tribit has the most convincing bass, at least up to medium volumes ...however sound clarity in the mids, in the highs, and the great soundstage, is perfect for me, for my ear it is the best of all the speakers I have tried ... but the bass so little present really shocked me.... and to think that initially I was afraid of having to often use an equalizer to lower the bass ... for now exactly the opposite has happened ...
God... Pretty sure it's the mic quality (not blaming here, I DO NOT expect smaller channels to have extremely pricy and detailed microphones just for recording other speakers... ), but the Anker pierced my drums...
I think the tweeters on the anker was responsible for that. I was hearing any harshness sitting behind the microphone. Should've lowered the gain some.
The video isn't so good to compare tracks, too much time you have to wait between songs for the comparison; Anyway I recognized the speaker B like Motion+, I heard this video with my soundcore motion with default equalization, in the worst conditions, during deep night with a very low volume although the equalization of the motion+ in this video wasn't the default flat but customized by the user.
Its real sound from test device . .? Portable speaker cant pruduce sound like that . except by mixing . 2. To compare the device you must use the sane song . 😊
