ANKER Soundcore Motion+ VS SONY SRS-XB43 "BIGGER SIZE NOT BETTER?!" 

I own the Motion Plus and use it regularly... and I love it. My friend has an XB43. We did our own side-by-side comparison and the XB43 won in overall volume and bass, but we agreed the Motion Plus has better clarity. So, there's no winner or loser here. Both are great little speakers. Just pick your priority and choose accordingly.

Honestly the best way to compare the two in my opinion is using their speakers ability to connect s 2nd speaker so as one speaker takes the L channel while the other takes the R channel. Trust me, dedicating one bluetooth speaker to one channel makes a HUGE difference when it comes to power of volume (duh) but most importantly, clarity. Because there could be a few tracks in your library that can reach some unusually low hertz, and under full volume/power, it could be a little much for even a $300 speaker built to allow extra bass, and still have sound distorting and speakers crackling under the stress, but splitting that stress across another speaker really let's you crank up the volume on more tracks and almost never deal with distortion and cracking again. That's where Soundcore's strengths in relation to its price truly thrives. Because suddenly you can get two Motion's for the price of one XB43 and then there would be no debate what the better option would be if you had a $200 budget

I think it all really boils down to what kind of user you are , I really like the LG pk7s as that have the cage that mounts them away from the floor, kool look , but I think they lack bass. If your a traveller the motion+ win hands down and if you buy 2 it's probably the same price as 1 xb43 , deffo worth investing in 2 motions which in reality would leave the xb43 behind, and at 100% doesn't distort like the xb, goes to show size really don't matter here , good review , Sony's still a bloody good speaker tho

How many watts is the xb 43? The xb 40 & 41 were 40 watts. But apparently the xb 43 doesn’t go as loud and the older speakers.

What is your opinion to the music boxes? My is yeah the Sony srs xb 43 sounds overall better than the soundcore motion plus but... Definitely the price doesn't worth it the soundcore cost sometime only 80€ or dollar and the srs xb 43 250€ it cost more than the doupke but it doesn't sound like it is double good as the soundcore

Did you use the Motion+ with default flat EQ or did you tune it? All Soundcore products MUST be tuned with a custom EQ and if you do not, you're clearly not taking advantage of it and do not understand Soundcore. The real comparison is AFTER you tune Soundcore products with a custom EQ, just saying. And no, I do no work for Soundcore

I vote for sony xb43, motion plus, has a maximum volume and play for only 2hrs and 23min, but the xb43, will last up to 4-5hrs of play with maximum volume. 30w Motion plus vs Xb43 50w...

Do you recommend anker motion plus or older model sony xb41 for a techno lover?

Please try to set EQ with sony app,, then compare ,, sony sound is also good ,, but here it looks dull...

Both are ultimate winners..if you are considering budget go for motion + no doubt. If you like lights and you are rich go for sony😂....

Hi, i have bought the Soundcore motion plus. I have a problem with it and i want to know if it’s normal. When the battery gets low the music stop. I can still play it because there is still some battery. It plays 15 minutes stop again...

Ridiculous comparison. Obviously this Sony is bigger sound! It costs 3 times as much, weighs 3 times as much and is 3 times larger! For it's size that Motion+ is amazing so it should be against the Sony XB33 here. The XB43 is villified here by it's sheer size and bass. It is a great speaker and here in India is a bit cheaper than the Xtreme2 Now there's a good comparison! It's large but streamlined, has disco options but you don't have to use them. The Denon Envaya 250 should be here against the Motion+ in this class war not THIS Sony heavyweight in the wrong category! The XB33 here would be more sensible!

hey gj abo is there, Oluv say SRS-XB33 is really good? so SRS-XB43 is bader than XB33? what cost now under 100Euro.. possible XB 33 better than soundcore+ what is your opinion.Yes unfortunately it doesn't mean that paying more is always better, but with these price differences, a lot more must come, sadly. Its a Shame that a 70Euro speaker Motion+ Can beat mostly all 100~200 250€ Speakers. In sound sure some has better base but its not all about Bass.
