Just got Soundcore Boom. This this is amazing, the sound quality is great with equalizer. The bass is crazy good. I put it side by side with Bose Sound Touch 10 and it pumps same level of sound and bass.

@@eddiekytia can't compare to JBL but it's loud. Sometimes I turn Bass Upp off, so it doesn't shake up the house. I use it in my basement gym, battery seems to last forever, but I haven't tried to run it non stop, it would take more than a day...

Separate those speakers a bit to let the radiators breathe. I agree that $250 is a bit too much for the XB43. Even worse, the comparable JBL Xtreme 3 being $350 is really out of line price wise.

One thing does really impress me. The weather looks superb man & you're so organised doing this test. But I do want to ask a question. Would you ever use a BT speaker in this context? I love SoundCore equipment. It works & isn't stupidly EXPENSIVE. I would be worried taking a $350 BT speaker to the park. But $90 is OK. I'm sure you understand how that feels.

Have a jbl extreme (@ 4 or 5 years old..and cuts out if not plugged in..🙄) and jbl partbox 300. Ordered the boom last week! Should be delivered tomorrow. I am excited...and price point is crazy good.

@@nappyhal Been using the boom outdoors at the basketball courts and it's great. I even like the indoor playback at lower volumes. It is the pound per pound champ in my opinion. One love.

The xb43 is crap to my ears compared to the boom. I had them both, and after countless tries to set the EQ on sony, the clarity, the power, the bass of the boom are on another level, and I can't find anything better of the xb43 respect to the boom...

soundcore boom has more bass but the clarity is lacking...if it had sony's clarity it would be a winner for me but i enjoy balance more than just bass. Sony could use a bit more bass and it would be fine. But just goes to show that these companies play around and not give people the great balanced speaker with low end, highs, and mids.

I set my EQ on my Sony to 364 I tried different settings I always go back to that one and maybe bass to taste but that sounds the best to me remember it's a weird EQ it was also done on a frequency graph the show the best sound with the Eq great video see you next time

I was planning to sell my jbl pulse 4 for the lack of bass and buy the bx43 or xboom pl7 for the same price, but I realised that the design and lights from this speaker is unique so I will keep it. I also have a partybox 310 to shake my house and thats enough for me. I juste wanted a replace for the pulse to have bass when I go outside but, is not worth it. Thanks for hour reply mate

@@michaelhopkins5531 yeah the xb43 destroys the pulse 4 in sound, but the design of the pulse 4 is so cool that doesn't allow me to say goodbye to it. That's why I'm going to keep my pulse 4 until pulse 5. And for true sound performance I have the partybox 310 but the xb43 is a very good speaker

@@Pablo-hw5ik sony srs xb43 is the best speaker sony has ever made, trust me , its louder than i thought, especially when I enabled LDAC codec mode, but u have to play at 100 percent to achieve its full vibrant potential .. and tweeter makes its sound better

I've had both and kept the Motion Boom and the XB43 went on Craiglist, The Motion boom has beautiful natural sound while to my ears the XB43 has a terrible hard to control treble push, the treble was either too much or too little. NO in between.

I made the comparison myself in a store here in Athens (I'm Geek). The price near the same. The music I listen to is Metal. So my comparison was very easy and also the conclusion. The clarity of the vocals and drum cymbals, the guitars also and overal the bass was way better for the Sony. The Soundcore was good but to much bass and I lost the mid's and the high's. Sony is much more balanced. Right bass, Right mid's, right high's. All detailed. But don't get me wrong, I listen only Metal. I don't know for other music genres what they would sound like. But be carefull, Metal music is very demanding music and you have to have good speakers to have a decent quallity. Also the Sony is stereo (2 amplifiers of 16W so the soundstage is better). Of course the Soundcore is louder but mono.

Yep. Only thing is the Aomais is smaller. Boom sounds better, is louder, longer battery life, you name it, It’s better.

Another #Great comparison from two very nice but different sounding #BoomBoxes and I love the fact they both have an app that allows you to tune YOUR music from YOUR speaker YOUR way. In this day and age EVERY listening device over $150 should absolutely have app capability. #Soundcore is doing great things and within the next couple of years they will definitely be the big boys on the block and everyone else will be playing catch up. Although, the sony does has have tweeters. And yet it still sounds terrible that's sony's speakers and headphones for you. I had soundcore headphones and they were pretty good except the right driver went out. Noise canceling was good but it if you moved it started clicking and making sounds.

To me the soundcore has a cleaner sound than the Sony the sonys treble isn't as crisp and the mids seem a tad veiled my motion boom has ample treble and soundstage

JDL.... first off great vid and thanks for sharing... now ima say 2 things... 1 there's prolly no bugger soundcire fan than myself... and lastly 2 if ya wonder what a motion plus amd motion boom would sound like as 1 speaker?? Order the all black Aiwa Exos 3 for 145.99 on amazon.... I just recently owned the plus and the boom either nit enough bass on plus or not enough mids and highs on boom.... this aiwa blew me away and literally is in my opinion those 2 soundcore speakers in 1.... I might not know shit bout audio im just a fn miserable mailman in mn LOL but this aiwa exos 3 is the shit !!!! Readin up they came out first with red and black one and that is yet to be fully updated firmware etc but the all black model is amd man this speaker is insane!!! Take care man and you kickass jdl.. please keep up the great work!!

GREATS FROM BRAZILL! eiii New Stuff TV! one last question: for me it was clear that the anker motion boom beat the sony xb42 and the jbl xtreme 3 outdoors and at maximum volume... THE ONLY DOUBT THAT REMAINS and it's still not clear...(and even if you've already done it a video of these all against the LG PN7) is as follows: if you compare only the anker motion boom and the lg pn7 outdoors and at maximum volume: which has more louder? which one has more bass? and which one has more refinement and detail? make a LG pn7 x jbl xtreme 2 or 3 video! whoever wins will be the king of the category!

Well it does not so great on lower bass, it's an upper bass speaker (Like JBL Xtreme 1). Moreover SoundCore EQ is actually more complex than Sony's 3 sliders.

@@ThibautMahringer my Sony I think it's breaking in cuz the bass is getting better the low Bass it surprises me sometimes but it still can't beat the bass on my JBL Xtreme 2 highs and mids or just a little better on the Sony and the Sound Stage and is clearer JBL smooth and warm badass Bass low sub-bass is louder on the JBL a extraordinary 15 decibels but the Sony is 5 decibels louder at its peak louder midbass

Sony Xb43 the best in segment. Vs jbl charge 5 (similar price) or xtreme 3 vs HK onyx 5. HK has good Lows JBL has good highs but worst mids Sony good mids and lows but moderate highs. Pros of Sony is the lights, Decent quality and price. Best value for money. Equaliser through app and light settings is awesome. Review after 3 months of research.. 😘😘😊😊
