@@TheTazzietiger I don't see it that way. I see her as a narcissist who loves to think of herself as a good person. I even think the actress is deluded about the character she plays . Aunt Lydia is a monster and trying to humanize a narcissist is an exercise in futility. They are human predators and to make them humane is ridiculous and stupid.
I know her from my favorite film It Could Happen to You. And I do not understand how she let herself become morbidly obese. She was a pretty waitress in that film. And she was bone thin. No one has said anything about it but it is shocking and unhealthy.
Maybe the fact that "no one has said anything about it" should have been a clue for you to realize that this was a really stupid thing to say. She clearly has a lot to offer besides her looks, that's why no one else cares about it. People age, people change. Be human.
