Elvis offered to house her and provide a first rate education at a Catholic school in Memphis. Elvis didn't officially propose to Priscilla until five years later and then they got married very quickly in Las Vegas in 1967.

However, from what I understand, Elvis wasn't having a sexual relationship with Priscilla during this time. So it is possibly that Ann didn't feel in her mind that she was being the "other woman" since there wasn't an intimate claim to Elvis by Priscilla. Only Ann can answer that one...and Elvis was a known womanizer as well. So...as much as I love Elvis...he didn't exactly walk on water either in his relationship with either Ann or Priscilla. When Elvis was heavy into drugs, he wouldn’t listen to his friends, his father, or Priscilla. If someone tried to get him to stop using, he would get rid of them. I wish I knew why people think 52 is old. It's not! She looks like a regular 52 year old slim woman aging gracefully. You don't really start looking undeniably "old" until your mid 60-70s, certainly into your 80s. But at 52 you're a comfortable middle age and normally still have elasticity in your skin. I was side man to Elvis in the movie "Double Trouble" and am on the cover of the DVD with Elvis, I am the guy with black hair and the guitar the blond guy on the other side of Elvis is Don our drummer. I can say that Elvis was very kind to us guys in the band even though he was so very busy. I had an opportunity to go motorcycle riding with Elvis and Ann Margret at the time at the invitation of Lance LeGault who was Elvis choreographer. I couldn't make it...besides not knowing how to ride a motorcycle...still regret not being able to make that engagement to this day.
