This is a Vlog Video of Anna Centenary Library (ACL) is an established state library of the Government of Tamil Nadu. It is located at Kotturpuram, Chennai. It is built at a cost of ₹172 crores (₹1,720 million). It is named after a former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, C. N. Annadurai. It was opened by the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi. The average number of persons who visited the library between January and October 2011 is around 26,500, compared to the monthly average of 20,000 in 2010.

Nicely presented. Stands testament to the priorities of the Dravidian movement, and the then DMK govt under Kalaingar. And nothing short of criminal what JJ and her cronies did to this library for 10 years just out of sheer personal vengeance!

I preparing there for my govt exam. Really out of space. Need to extend seating capacity for competitive aspirants section. Please open more library with own book preparation. It creates lot of ias ips doctors through out Tamilnadu. Personally I travelling 17 km to reach this library. Please open many library like this🙏

Also court strongly disapproved . Poonamallee HM Manimehalai filed a case in HC against the then autocratic and rapacious jayaa govt and got a stay. Eventually the court ruled against Jaya govt's malicious decision and made it as it is. Thanks to all fora incl students and well wishers who pertinaciously stood for it.

GREAT GIFT TO KNOWEDGE SEEKERS. THANKS TO TAMIL NADU GOVT. CANTEEN FACILITIES WERE.VERY.POOR. FOR.A READER WHO READS FOR MORE THAN FIVE TO SIX HOURS, MILK, ICE CREAMS , BUTTER MILK AND OTHER MILK PRODUCTS ARE.LIKE A BICYCLE TO THE FISH IN THE.OCEAN. COFFEE TEA RAGI MALT ETC ARE VERY USEFUL TO THE REAĎERS. MILK , BUTTER MILK WILL MAKE READER TO SLEEP OVER THR TABLE. DURING SUMMAR SEASONS.

ANNADURAI STUDIED HIS LAST.NOVEL FOR WHICH HIS.CANCER OPERATION WAS POSTPONED FOR HE WANTED TO FINISH THE NOVEL BEFORE THE OPERATION. THE NAME OF THE NOVAL IS " MASTER CHRISTIAN". . THIS NOVEL IS NOT AVAILABLE IN ANNA CENTUNARY LIBRARY. I PERSONALLY REQUESTED MANY OFFICERS IN THE LIBRARY. I ALSO RECORDED IT IN THE COMPLAINT BOOK. NOTHING HAPPENED TILL MARCH 2020.
