I've only seen one other gymnast who SMILED at her tumbling runs...her name was Oksana Omelianchik...she reminds me a lot of her...specially on FX!!! Congrats Anna!!!!!!
I LOVE this girl! She knows how to perform and have fun! Not to mention how clear and crisp all her movements are! Her routine is so easy and fun to watch! I was really rooting for her at this meet! I hope she can get alittle more consistent and maybe do alittle upgrading so she can really challenge for a medal in the Olympics..I dont know about AA but I see a floor gold in her future:)
@volleyballgurly15 As much as I like Semenova she would really have to put all her difficulty in her routines or she won't make it. I guess we will have to wait. I miss gymnastics so I can't wait for the Visa Champs right now. America will be so strong...I expect the same from Russia and Romania is looking promising...China..Im not impressed right now...I feel that cheng fei brought variety but now all their routines look the same...Worlds will be amazing
@gymnasticsfan14 I never said cheering your teammates means you're not focused. I just said that the Russians probably have different strategies to focus. There is no proof. And they didn't hate her. But they didn't like her. They didn't cheer as much for her in podium training in Beijing and at Visas in 2008, she sat alone before the competition started. Sacramone gave a dirty look when she beat her on floor in 2007. And during Classics podium training this year. Memmel didn't care for her CONT
@volleyballgurly15 I love that Memmel is back. She is my favorite but I really have gotten to like Weiber as well. With so much talent I don't even know lol
@LCAmarkymark Same here. I also enjoy Semenova & would like to see her on the team. Although I can't imagine they would but both of them on that team. I feel like Semenova has an advantage because of her experience. But I still absolutley love Dementyeva! I heard she's the hardest worker out of all the Russian team!
@gymnasticsfan14 Yeah, I read what you said, but it's actually not true haha. They aren't horrible to her. They're all friends. What video where Ksenia "pushed" Dementyeva out of the circle? Nobody went to give a lot of people hugs on last years Russian team. They were all extremely focused gymnasts unlike the Americans who used physical support by hugging each other. That's a terrible thing to be glad about.
that's because her eyebrows are really blonde and it kinda looks like she doesn't have any....but she really is quite a gorgeous gymnast to watch! Go Anna!!
@DimaOlerd reciently Alexandrov said she´s has been doing all her best in training but that her body won´t leave her alone, the growing spurt took a hard toll on her :S
@gymnasticsfan14 I didn't call Shawn arrogant. I implied it was their thoughts on her being arrogant. Are metaphors supposed to be taken literally? Then neither was that... And that's not all. What about Shawn sitting alone at one of the Visas, the girls not cheering for her as much in Beijing, ASacs dirty looks during podium training at Classics this year and after Shawn won floor in 07. There's more too.
@LCAmarkymark I cant wait for Worlds either! I think its's the U.S to loose! We deffiniitly have the strongest team out there right now. I never really liked the Chinese. There routines are so repetivie that its not even funny...I also think some of them are underage. I hold a grudge on them for what they did in Sydney. But it seems like they were never strong as a team. They are individualy good, & that's it. Who are you rooting for at VISA's?
@gymnasticsfan14 I'm not saying Shawn's arrogant. I'm saying that's the opinions of the other girls on the Beijing team. I'm a hipocrit? You mean "hypocrite"? There's plenty of proof actually. There was a small fight via Twitter back a couple of years ago between ASac and Johnson. Can't find it anymore. It wasn't a bad fight. Just a bit sassy.
@gymnasticsfan14 It wasn't from Euros 2010 because Anna wasn't on that team. The Russians are EXTREMELY focused. Since when do they need to be cheering "c'mon Nas!"? The US is sweet? You do know that almost everyone on the Beijing team disliked Shawn because she is a bit arrogant? They still cheered for her though. Maybe the Russians have a different style. Can't you accept that? Not everyone has to "copy" the US. And they weren't rude to their teammates last year on team Russia. Haha really?
@gymnasticsfan14 What a terrible thing to say! All her teammates are horrible? You do know that's not true. There's interviews with Mustafina saying they all get along and I've heard she laughs at these types of comments. Why would you wish an injury upon someone? I wish Komova won the AA but that doesn't mean I wish Wieber got injured! It's not a fair win too if there's an injury. And yes, she does train harder so she probably does deserve it more.
@gymnasticsfan14 CONT either. And Nastia's actually a sweet girl (besides the alleged Beth Tweddle teeth mocking). You should watch her interviews and her homecoming from Beijing. Arrogant means conceited. Nothing to do with "you talking shit about others". Do you know them? No you don't. So I don't think you can say who was the nicest on the Beijing team. Personally, I believe Peszek or Sloan were.
