I haven’t used mine yet! Actually I’ve never made anything like this before, Thank You for the info that the top plate will be etched with each pass, I would have thought I had done something wrong or that the machine was defective! Thank You for the tip about keeping 1 Plate unmarked & turning the top plate around & over to keep flat! I had no idea the plate would warp!
Very helpful video! I'm considering buying this. I've had to Gemini Jrs and they were AWFUL! Had to throw them both in the trash. They only lasted about a year! I don't make many cards, so not sure what was wrong. But Gemini was definitely not a good purchase. I want to know if I can use other dies in the Anna Griffin, that are NOT Anna Griffin dies. I did just write them and they told me some other competitors dies will not work in the machine and some will. But this is a beaitufl machine for sure! You did a wonderful job with this video. yes you can use other company dies in the machine. they might be talking about older dies that were really thick. I haven’t had any problems with this. I love it. I used to have a vagabond. I liked it too but I really like this better. you will love it!
@@kimberlyanndesigns1thank you SO MUCH for the helpful information! I have a lot of dies and the vast majority are from Stampin' Up! and Spellbinders - so they're not the old thick ones. These are wafer dies. I really do appreciate you answering my question. I think I may order this AG die cutting machine. ♥ Update: I just ordered it from Anna Griffin.
I want to watch this but it doesn’t sound like you’re wearing a mic and so the sound is very low. Plus the background music obscures the sound even more. I am trying to find videos that will include the sound of the machines as well since that is important to me in my decision to buy an electric cutter. But everyone thinks they have to mask the sound of the machine. When you are talking that’s fine but you should at some point include the sound the machine makes when in operation. I do appreciate that you show everything right out of the box!
Unfortunately I had to use my phone to shoot this video and it was up high above me. I didn’t realize the sound bit quiet. I can say this machine is much quieter than the vagabond.
