I’m a big fan. That scene when she had a panic attack and went on air regardless, that scene alone, was a pure Oscar performance. I hope Anna will end up doing great movies in the US. Incredible talent!
Anna Torv is an amazing actress, I first met her on Fringe but Stephanie, Secret City, Mindhunter and now The Newsreader are proves that she is super talented and very unique.
Busy watching Fringe after my husband begged me for years. Didn't want to because I thought it wasn't my thing but so glad I have as I discovered Anna. Can't wait to move on to other work she has done as she is brilliant.
I was GLUED to the telly for all 6 shows. PLEASE make more! It is the best ABC drama in history! The acting of everyone was flawless. Anna, Sam and especially Marg Downey were mesmerizing. The cars and sets were period correct to minute detail. Brilliant script writing and directing. A credit to everyone. Can't wait for more!
Wow Anna is clearly a super talent, watched, secret city, Mindhunter, some of Fringe and now Newsreader. Surely they will make more series' of Newsreader. Along with Marta Dusseldorp, Australia's finest, spell binding, so believable WOW again, a pleasure to be entertained!!
With so much awful news in the world, we binged over 3 nights the 6 episodes and what a great antidote. Smashing acting a few interesting parallels with today and unusually a happy ending, well done Australia from us all in the home coutry.
Anna Torv hasn't aged a bit. They need to do a FRINGE movie or a limited series where Walter Bishop suddenly returns with help from September's/Donald's son and his appearance causes a whole new pattern of Fringe events.
