So basically the Karjenners will never be uninvited because the main objective of the met gala is just to make money so it doesn’t matter if you have no fashion sense or miss the memo on the theme as long as you have plenty of cash to donate. Karl lagerfield is a pretty difficult theme to mess up

In my opinion, the Gala should’ve not only highlighted Karl, but also Vivienne Westwood and Thierry Mugler. All 3 of them changed fashion for better, and should be given equal shine

Excellent interview by Gayle. If you want to know more about Anna from someone that worked with her for decades- read Andre Leon Talley's book that he narrated for Audible shortly before he died. Explosive, Candid, Revealing and VERY critical of her. Karl NEVER ever agreed to any suggestion of exhibitions of his work.....

Impressed at how Gayle asked the brave questions but still managed to not be offensive. She was also able to somehow highlight the curator Andrew when it's supposed to be about Lagerfeld.

I love Anna's signature bob hair. It has become her trademark. If she wore hair differently, I probably won't recognize her immediately.

Karl has to be celebrated and so do all people who really did something truly amazing and unique during their lives. We as his admirers are waiting for this; he is a RICH source of inspiration and knowledge for design and also as a way of living. That is what we want and thank you! If anyone does not want his celebration, then they should produce something better than Karl, and show it to us. If not, to keep quiet now, because he is finished anyway. What do critics expect now?! To cut off Karl's achievements and us to stick to their voice of reason?! Nope, thank you. Now only his creation stays. If critics had something to say, they already said that, and now it's over - we don't want to listen to that. We want to see and listen to Karl now. People like Karl are born once in oceans of time - probably even lesser than that. In fact, there's no one like him that I heard of. He has to be celebrated many many many times. P.S.: Even Anna is no stranger to critics of all sorts. What critics want, holly people? Even holly people aren't good enough for all the world to agree.

No museum needs millions of dollars every year it will be a great cause if they help some people in need instead !

The fact that the film/fashion industry can "separate the art from the artist" when it's convenient for them but regularly registered to do the same if the subject is on the other side of the aisle is... hypocritical at best. Hollywood ignores problematic people like Lagerfeld and Ezra Miller, indicating that all that matters is lip service to a cause. It's pathetic.
