While I find Garbo Talks a bit boring, I adored Anne in the movie. She was ruthless and spunky. You wouldn't want to mess with her, lol. Anytime she was in a movie that took place in Brooklyn, NY (The Prisoner of Second Avenue, Fatso, Garbo Talks, 84 Charing Cross Road, etc.) I don't see her as Anne Bancroft... I see her as Anna Maria Louisa Italiano.
Huh? Women do build buildings. Here in the UK we have a growing number of female contractors on building sites. As for being harassed, just because it hasn’t happened to you shouldn’t make it OK. How would you feel walking down the road on your own, in public, in broad daylight and being singled-out by a group of men up on scaffolding - saying lewd things and talking about your intimate parts? Probably wouldn’t feel too good would it?
