She seems pressured and manic. Hollywood is a bad bargain for women. The casting couch. The short career half life. The narcissism. The isolation. Many men can't handle it, but at least they are better equipped and get more benefit from it.

Maybe her family staged an intervention and she resisted. As the truth in one old adage states"you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink" applies to those in the throes of addiction like Anne. Not sure exactly what you mean by psychos but I found it disturbing how many people minimized Anne's actions and the psychological trauma she caused the tenant of the house because no doubt she now has ptsd because of the experience. And the home owner deserves full monetary compensation for the loss of her house at the hands of Anne. And now that she has died I hope she is able to successfully sue Anne's estate and the decent thing would be for Anne's family to voluntarily compensate the owner and tenant instead of making it a long drawn out battle in the courtroom.

james tupper raised concerns that she was doing too many drugs but i think people thought he accused her of that because they were breaking up. classic hollywood.

Anne’s mother is a gay conversion therapist. I don’t think Anne had much family support, poor thing

My husband is a dreadful alcoholic, we have all begged and pleaded, staged an intervention. He just refuses. People just do not understand that no one can help them if they don't want help. You simply cannot force anyone. I have found that to be the most misunderstood part....people think you can make them get help. You simply cannot if they refuse. So, I bet it was the same with her family and friends.

@@janewood2962 What you say is very true...sadly. There's nothing you can do. My brother has just got oesophageal cancer from constant binge drinking, but even that doesn't stop him. I hope you manage to make it through without losing your sanity and obvious good nature.

I think she gets on something before interviews because she knows her relationship with Ellen will be raised- I’ve seen a couple of interviews where she relates to her relationship with Ellen- I think she was totally in love with her but she couldn’t get Ellen to understand that as a previously heterosexual woman, she still loved her - Ellen felt intimidated and insecure by her sexuality and wanted to control her instead of just love her- these are my thoughts on their relationship - I think this haunted and crushed Anne since their breakup - she died the other day with unresolved issues unfortunately- poor lady 😢

We have yet to see just what an AMAZING legacy she has left behind. She was the first openly gay person in HollyWood. She stands for TRUTH!!! She died because she was shedding light on the sex trafficking of children, also doing a movie, yet to come out, about sex trafficking called “Girl in Room 13.”

This didn't happen over night. People saw her struggles including her family.she finally hit rock bottom but ultimately it took her life. But thank God no one else died. Not sure if anyone could have changed the senerio or wanted to. Very sad 😥

I couldn't have said it better myself, Trudy. I watched Six Days, Seven Nights again earlier today and cried all the way through it. I usually don't pay much attention to celebrities, but this one hit a little too close to home, for more reasons than i care to explain.

@@davi318 No, I don't have addiction, but I've known people who have. They told me they alternated stimulous substances with alcohol to control their altitude. Haha! I'm endeavoring to state this in ways RU-vid might like. No, I don't use drugs recreationally, and I barely drink alcohol. I wasn't even a social drinker in my twenties. I'm a Baby Boomer, so I'm unusual regarding substances and alcohol. I've never been drawn to using substances for fun nor to overusing alcohol.
